Wyndham Nassau Resort

The Wyndham Crystal Palace casino is currently doing some renovations. Our room was not in the renovated section, however it was Ocean View and the the View was great. Room has fridge, safe, vanity is separate from toilet & shower area, mattress was tough on the back, overall the room was clean though. It was my 3rd stay at the Wyndham and not too much has changed in the last 5 years. The pool is still chilly, gaming tables friendly, and food pricey. There is a Starbuck's on-site which was very convenient. I will stay there again - hopefully in a renovated room!

I did not like at the time of checking into the hotel you are informed how each guest must pay a $15/per day fee. That was $90 I did not plan on spending. Also in the downstairs resturant you had to pay a 15% gratuity for them getting your breakfast plus they had a tip-jar sitting next to the cash register.

Room was OK.ndergoing construction. BEWARE...they charge you $15 per person resort fee, does not include anything special. When inquired about this, they just said all resorts in Bahamas did this, like that made it better. Food was expensive except for pizza at deli which turned out to be very good for $15.Take bus downtown for $1, but they quit running at 6:30

the wyndham nassau was a great place to stay with many restaurants, a great casino and an amazing outdoor activity area complete with jet skiing, parasailing and a slide into a large pool with a floating bar. the drinks are over priced but there is a duty free shop to buy cheaper liquor. Upon check in the entire power in the hotel went out for some reason and the staff was clearly in dissarray. Though after about 2 or 3 hours the power was back on and the rest of the trip was great.

The Wyndham Nassau Resort was overall a good experience. Unfortunately the pool and other amenities were undergoing renovation and were closed. Even though we could use the Sheraton's pool next door, it just wasn't as convenient.

The Wnydom was average. I was too far from what I was use to while visiting the Bahamas. I really thought the staff at various places were very unfriendly. I feel if you are going to work in the public, then the attitude is importabt and have more people skills.(Act the part if deem necessary.)

there was an extra $15 per day resort charge for a resort fee (use the fitness center and a maid gratuity.) this seems to be the norm for Nassau. There was an extra $16 per day charge for internet. there was no free internet available. I got a soda and sandwich to go and had to pay a gratuity fee of 15%. YOu are about 5 miles from downtown. there is a $1 Jitney bus available or a $12 cab fare. One night there was no water pressure and the next morning there was no hot water. they comp'd me fifty dollars.

it was overall a good place to stay. the dining options would be fine if your rich. my 9 year old daughter and i ate breakfast once, it was $30. that would add up pretty fast. so we drove to the grocery store for some basics to last ud our 5 days.

the staff at the Wyndham was great and my room was clean and had a great view but I was expecting a newer hotel. The hotel has to be updated. When i was there the pool and bargrill was closed and we had to use the Sheratons pool and beach but we still had to pay the $15.00 a day resort fee. I would stay there again because of location but renovations are a must.

nice place. room was nice, had a little balcony and a great view of the ocean. there are several restaurants in the hotel but they are all over priced and not so good. there is a good bar outside though. the pool and beach access are very convenient. for the money, i was happy with the hotel.
