too little for the price

the resort fee didnt even include free coffee in the lobby. the price for food and/or drinks was outrageously high. the extra resort fee should have included more than the pool and the beachfront. Sure it had everything in the same building, but it all cost out the roof. I was not happy with what i got for the high price we payed. Take off the resort fee or give the people more free stuff.

Summer vaction

The first 3 days we got we had no hot water the door to our room would not close we had to call housekeeping on a daily basis for wash clothes and hand towels there was construction going on right outside our room that we were not told about when we arrived. When we checked out we asked for the hotel managers business card the front desk clerk said she did not have one and we told her why we wanted it. she was nice enough and gave us a $100.00 back . I thought they should have at least offered us another stay for a couple of days when they were done with the renovations.

A little Dissapointed

Booked this hotel due to the price. We love Nassau and this was our third trip back. Hotel was undergoing construction of taking down several towers to make room for a brand new resort. Jackhammering all day, view was of the two unoccupied towers and construction workers. Much of the main hotel was blocked off and shops were empty or closed. The beach was clean and not very crowded which was the best part of the whole stay. Food at the resort was ridiculously expensive. One night a salad, rack of ribs and order of chicken wings ran 90 bucks. Went to the fish fry and got shrimp, conch, and lobster tail the next day for 45. I was only able to find one ice machine in our entire tower that worked. The room was pretty spacious except for the bathroom which was teeny tiny. Air conditioner barely kept the temperature bearbale during the day. There was an automatic gratuity slammed on every purchase whether service good or not, They even charge a gratuity when you buy a bottle of water! This place was cheap, but between the expensive meals, resort fees, and automatic gratuities is wound up being expensive and not worth the money. Nassau is great, the people are great, the beaches and water are great, this hotel was not.

Pre Wedding Vacation

This was the first trip my fiancé and I took outside of our country together. Our main goal was just to relax on the beach away from everything. The hotel was decent. They are under construction and that's the view that we got from our room. The Sheraton, which is next door, had a much better looking facility and more activities. There was a thunderstorm one of the days and all of the power in our hotel went out for about 45 minutes. There was no instruction or announcements about what was going on or how long it would take before the power would be back. The power in the Sheraton was not affected during that time. The food in the hotel was decent. I would recommend the Black Angus Grille. The food there was impeccable. The buffet at the Wyndham was much better than the one at the Sharaton. It was overall a good trip and my fiancé and I had a great time. We hear the Atlantis is AMAZING and might visit there if we ever go back.

Do not shop anywhere near the hotel. You will get better deals downtown. The best place to get souvenirs is Straw Market.

Great price, Great place!

The resort was beautiful. Every staff was so friendly, never had any problems with staff members. When every we needed any thing, we just call help desk and service will come quickly. Our room was the island view and the view was priceless. You see the ocean, and we always woke up to a beautiful sunrise. It was just amazing. The only downside was the sliding door was not able to lock. We was offered a new room but we got lazy because all our stuff was settled. We did not found out the lock was not working til our 2nd day. But it was ok, we put all our important stuff in the vault. but either way noone came up the window. Also, the cleaner keep forgetting to leave us our towel but then again when I called for extra towels it was there right away. Overall, our stay was pleasant. The location was perfect, it was close to everything. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you Wyndham Resort!
