Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Go to the fish fry. The ride is very short from the hotel by jittney/bus. There are many various restaurants @ the fish fry. The food is spciy but very tasty and good. If you're looking to party & mingle with the local people, this is the place to be in the evening hours. It's a party there every night of the week. I really enjoyed myself there.

Very Nice!!!

The hotel is gorgeous...the rooms are nice...the location of the hotel was not ideal for us because we wanted to be closer to downtown. We used the "jitney" style public bus for $1.25 each way to get us into town...but the bus stops running after 7pm, so we had to "taxi" it from that point on and that can get to be costly each day. My only other complaint was the expensive food at this hotel and I think its designed that way because they want their guests to buy the all-inclusive package (which we did not) but I'm not one to eat hotel food alot anyway, so needless to say, we ate most of our meals away from the hotel...other than that, it was great! The hotel staff was super friendly & always informative.

Paradise!

We took the Robinson Crusoe day cruise on the day of our 3rd anniversary (July 28, 2010). It was a phenomenal experience and it exceeded anything we could have imagined. The location, the decor, the activies, the feast and most importantly-the service was superb!
