Trip to Nassau
My boyfriend and I very much enjoyed our trip to Nassau. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We had a few concerns about the room that we were initially put in and they had no problem about changing our room and giving us a much better room with a better view and it was in a much quieter location. Everyone was very friendly. The only thing that would've been nicer would've been an all inclusive option we ended up spending just as much as we spent on the hotel and flight as we did on food for the four days that we were there at the hotel it would've been nice to have an all inclusive option that we could have used towards the restaurant at the hotel so that we didn't have to dish out quite as much money while we were on the trip

Great April Vacation
2 friends and I went for 5 days (Sat-Wed). We were pleased to receive a comp. upgrade to an ocean view. We would def. recommend staying in tower C. Amazing ocean views! Our room was clean, and pretty large. We loved that the sinks and large closet area was separate from the bathroom (great for 3 girls getting ready). Overall the value was good. The down side was that there was not much night life, and many restaurants were closed on Mon/Tuesday. We had to travel downtown to find a bar scene. We did love the water slide, and woud suggest checking out the amenities at the Sheraton (a must)! Not the most modern hotel, but a great vacation nonetheless!! I was quite pleased at the condition of the resort, especially after reading some of the negative reviews that had been posted. I would not hesitate to stay here again, although I would prefer a place with more nightlight.

Fish fry! We took the advice of fellow reviewers and went to the fish fry. It was also recommended by cab drivers, and other bahamians! We ate at Twin Brothers, and had some delicious Conch Fritters! Yum! We even took the local 10 bus, $1.50 each way which was a great deal. We paired our trip with a stop at the straw market for a great afternoon/local experience.

Staff will try to sell you Internet access when you can get it for free
Front desk staff tried to sell me Internet access for $14.95 a day when I was standing in a free WiFi area. Disappointed that they will try anything to sell you something rather then give the best advice. Will stay at the Sheraton next door on any future trip.

Well I had an overall good time. The one thing that you should be wary of is the prices of the restaurants on the resort...lunch for two ran anywhere from 60 dollars and dinner for 2 for 80 to 160 depending on wher u eat...Not much at the resort just relax and the pool is not heated unfortunately. I got a great value for the money but the dining cost did make the trip overall on the expensive side...

Upon our arrival we found a lobby full of teen agers with out adult supervision. Our room had a beautiful ocean view. For the most part the staff is friendly. The spa staff was very friendly and I had a very relaxing massage. On our last of 3 nights the floor we were on was very loud at mid night. Security was called and the front desk kept "disconnecting" me then not answering. I eventually went down to the front desk and spoke to the manager and was relocated to a suite for the remainder of the night.

Good Value
The hotel has shared amenities with the Sheridan which made it nice. The beach was beautiful and so were the pools. There were always enough beach chairs, towels, etc. for everyone and a good selection of restaurants between the two hotels. Bus service to the down town area and a mini straw market were just across the street. Not a good place to take a young family or teens--constant partying and loud beach music until 4am in the morning made it difficult to sleep
