Love Cable Beach

Very nice hotel & very friendly staff. Hotel room was basic but nicely furnished. Bathroom was the same. Booked an ocean view room & that is exactly what we got. Beautiful view of the pool & ocean on the 7th floor of the west wing. This is the 2nd time staying on Cable Beach & we will be going back. Small complaints would be that we were never left washcloths or towels unless we asked. No fan in bathroom. No fridge in room. You are promised as part of your cost snorkeling gear & beach towels. Which they do provide. But you can only check out the gear for 1/2 hour at a time then they hunt you down for them & the towel shack closes at 5:30. Not much to do around here after 6pm unless you like to gamble.

Fun trip

I thought it was a little bit pricey, we were on the 5th floor and our closest elevator was broken. We had a long way to find the nearest elevator. The room was clean and the beds were very nice and comfortable. The beach was fantastic and private. Also the casino was very nice. Restaurants were pretty good. The employees were very friendly.

Feedback

In general terms the hotel was acceptable but a scale down from a typical Sheraton Service. There was no room refrigerator or beverage service, no room service after 10 PM, no restaurant open after 10 PM. This is a problem if they are selling the Casinos as entertainment. The food at the buffet was very repeatitive and boring. Nothing special or unique.

A nice place for the entire family

The hotel experience was nice, but the food was very overpriced. Location to anything else in nassau was too isolated, but the location to the beach was superb. The elevator nearest our room was out of service the entire time, quite a walk to the other elevators, especially for the people who have a time going very far by foot. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly, especially the maid service people. We noticed that this would be a very nice place for families, especially since there was a lot for children to do.

Good, not Oustanding

This was a good stay for a good value. The room was clean and matched expectations set by the website photos. The lobby and lobby bar are nice but lack a "wow" factor. The staff wasn't rude, but certainly not overly friendly. The beach and pool are nice. Overall, I recommend this for a good value and a pleasant, satisfactory atmosphere.

Long Weekend in Paradise

My wife and I enjoyed a great long weekend at the Sheraton at Cable Beach in Nassau. The pools and beach were well kept, pretty and convenient. A short walk across the street is the best Dacquiri Shack in the world. All fresh fruit, plenty of rum and all for only six bucks. Pricing is a little steep, but plan ahead and you can enjoy a great time.

Beers were more than $8 each. If you are a beer drinker, like me, get a cooler and buy beer locally, water too, and keep iced in your room.
