Dining

The Blue Sail
Stunning Ocean views of the Resort's East Ocean Beach are the backdrop for this excellent Mediterranean French fusion restaurant. There are a lot of local Bahamian favorites and a wood fired pizza oven as well. An island cocktail in this relaxed sea side setting is not to miss.
Twisted Lime
Twisted Lime Sports Bar and Grill is located on the water in Sandyport's Marina Village. Enjoy beautiful scenery and decor which brings together modern Caribbean tranquility with a new age feel. Whether you are looking to catch the game on any of their 18 flat screen televisions or grab a bite to eat, Twisted Lime is the place for you!
The Poop Deck at Sandyport
The Poop Deck at Sandyport is located on the west Ocean Beach and specializes in local cuisine and fresh seafood. Hog snapper wrapped around baby shrimp, spinach and scallops with a caper butter cream sauce or try their classic "surf and turf" The Poop Deck at Sandyport offers the same hospitality as its older sibling out east in a more elegant atmosphere.
Spritz Restaurant
At Spritz Restaurant and Bar you can dine out over the water in a casual environment within the Sandyport Marina Village. Serving lighter Italian fare. While they say reservations are not necessary we recommend booking as this restaurant has a strong following.
News Cafe
The News Cafe is a popular Sandyport Marina Village breakfast and lunch spot. They are a whole lot more than sandwiches, offering a full delicatessen style menu and ice cream parlour. Patrons can also take advantage of free WiFi.
Restaurants
The restaurants of the Cable Beach area are all just a short bus ride away.
Da Hot Spot
This unique spot pool-side at the resort offers breakfast and dinner on most days. Make arrangements in the morning and Cleveland shops for the freshest ingredients to personally cook for you in the evening. There is no menu, just friendly service and excellent food at a great value. He is known for great Bahamian food but also perhaps the best burger on the island.

Overall, the hotel is decent and is situated in a cool mini-community. However there is one building of the hotel complex where the plumbing is bad and is where we were placed on the first night. After complaining to the front desk, we were able to move to a newer building in a studio room which made our experience 5x better. The only downside to the hotel is that it isn't located close to the main areas so you have to rely on the bus/taxi to get around.

Nice getaway

Would recommend Sat, Jul 18, 2015
I stayed in room 324...The room was nothing as advertised. It was half of a bedroom and half of a bathroom (very small) and no wireless Internet. The receptionist was great (always at work) and very pleasant.

Poor Reception

Would recommend Thu, Jan 15, 2015
Front Desk Reception was below standards. Returning guests and members were treated better. To be specific, I was not given a welcome package or information about the property. I found out about the orientation after I inquired. I was not invited to the continental breakfast and the shuttle bus to the grocery store found out about that on day 4 of my 4 day stay. The porters were excellent. The property is great! Very quite and location is convenient. Customer Service training would make this property rate EXCELLENT

Located across from Cable Beach which is nice, but you have to take a taxi or drive to get anywhere. A couple of decent restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean and comfortable. Wifi is in the lobby but not in the room.
