Too pricey for older hotel.

My daughter enjoyed the pool, but didn't really enjoy the food, except for the cheeseburgers. Breakfast was the best meal of the day. I enjoyed the snorkeling area. It was very close to the Atlantis, that was nice. The entertainment was poor, just local talent.

spring break 2010

Went here on spring break with a bunch of other kids from school. Great for spring breakers being the hotbed and where most kids stay. If I were older than the age of 25 though I would not stay here during the month of march to avoid the chaos that ensues at the bars and dealing with drunk college kids all day. Room was a pretty standard hotel room, clean and functional. Food was incredible and staff was very friendly and fun. The only downside was that the hotel was on the harbor side and did not have a beach but cabbage beach is a half mile walk. For the price you can not beat this. If your looking for fancy upscale place go to Atlantis if your looking for functional and a great deal I would recommend here.

Would not recommend....

Felt the photos of the resort were very misleading. The resort looks over the Nassau Harbor at ships would have preferred ocean front hotel. Elevators did not work or took you to the wrong floors. You could hear everything on the floors and adjoining rooms, not pleasant hard to sleep. Most of the staff were very unfriendly and acted bothered to help, other than Micheal the activities guy. He was the most friendly!!! The only good thing was the buffet food actually was not bad. Would not stay there again. Would try for the Riu, it is next to the Atlantis and beachside.

Paradise Island Harbour Resort

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were not very clean, and there was a lot of noise during the night. The elevator didn't work well, took long time to get to and from the seventh floor. There was no pencil or paper in room at any time. I would suggest that the pamplets on tours and such be outside, near the desk, rather than in a room of people who want to sell you something, when all you want is a little helpful suggestions. Their prices were high for tours.

Great Value!

Good: -buffet meals three times a day + bar -Staff were very nice and helpful -Drinks were included (including spirits) -Hotel located on a beach -pool and jacuzzi -not far from local shops -taxis always in abundance bad -We could hardly bare standing on the extremely COLD floors! -outdated -air conditioner was broken but as you can see the "goods" drastically outweigh the "bads." hope this helped=)

Ellen and Alyssa stay at Harbour resort

Hotel room was filthy and ants were all over the bathroom, bed sheets were stained relocated to another room Room was not secured could not lock door to balcony and needed to put chair and table by door. I was told was on the beach and come to see that location was by the harbor where the fishing boats docked. Lunch buffet was unediable. Service at buffet was was very unfriendly asked for coffee told togo get it myself. I told her that coffee was burned she did care was not at all accomadating. Spent next day at another hotel on their beach cost out of pocket additional $120.00 Was told shuttle service to airport and into town not the case had to pay out of pocket additional $40. When I told people here I was staying was told it had a poor reputation. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company. This hotel was at best 1 star
