Rat Trap
They should not charge for the rooms, they are so bad. We stayed there for no more than 3 hours, packed and moved away. It was scary. The rooms did not have light fixtures, they were exposed bulbs dangling from wires. The pool was green. The owners' restaurant was their house. Doors did not lock, bathrooms were grungy, Uneven sidewalks with ragged grass. We tried, but just could not lower our standards. Lost a night room $, but well worth the change. Went to the Sheraton, and walked in. Not the cheapest, but at least you felt safe. "Beach" was down the hill and across the road. No sand. Just hard coral and bushes. Not sure these other folks stayed that rated it acceptable. Its Not where I visited.

Creepy
We stayed one night here because it was the closest to the airport and we were leaving at 5:30 the next morning. The owner and people that work there are very friendly and run a home-like inn that has a bar that's on an honor system. The dining room was closed the Saturday night we were there. The facility is extremely old and tired. The room was less than basic - the bathroom was very old, tiny. The walls are paper thin - we were up all night thanks to the couple in the next room. At $150+ the only thing we saved was cab fare. Definitely would not stay here again!

Thanks for a nice stay!
This hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport. By taxi it will cost 12-15 USD. The hotel itself is very pretty it is set on top of a hill and overlooks the ocean. It has a couples swing set and tables outside to eat. It has a study/computer room and a restaurant attached to it. There is also a TV room and sitting area and a honour system for sodas and snacks. When we arrived they were very nice and upgraded us to an apartment. It was huge. There was a full kitchen full dining table and it was 2 separate rooms. It would be ideal for families. The rooms are clean and it was fairly quiet. The only thing is that if you chose to eat dinner at the attached restaurant dinner is a bit pricey and go early as they tend to run out of food. If you want cheaper options 10 minute walk away there is a Chinese place that is tasty and low key and an Italian place that is upscale. There is a gourmet market in the same plaza but apparently closes at 5-6 pm as we arrived at 7:30pm. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice place to start Bahamas
We stopped for a night before boarding a tall ship for a week of cruising. We were happy to spend and afternoon and evening just hanging out here and start to unwind. Nice & quiet for hanging out and reading. Food in restaurant is adequate, but no more. The beach across the street is pretty, but had too much broken glass -- the litter is one reason to avoid Nassau, in my book.

Relaxing Get Away
This is a great little inn if you just want to escape for awhile. Very laid back. It's a across the street from a nice beach. The beach was the best thing about inn. Most of the time the beach was empty, so it was almost private. The inn is a little worn around the edges, but the staff and owners are very nice and friendly. This is not a resort, but if you're looking for a personal and relaxing experience this is a great place.
