Great time!

Friendly, super service. The property is FANTASTIC!Only suggestion is that they have a little livelier entertainment in the evenings. The singer they had on Wednesday night was great, really got the crowd going. The rest ofthe week, the entertainment was pretty dull. Other than that, this place is really a dream.

Melia Nassau

Did not use all inclusive stay.Questioned several about food and at best fair quality. No washcloths on several days but called and got them delivered. The beach is very nice and one of the best in Nassau.Rented car and ate out noon and evening meals and really enjoyed. The pool is very nice and staff very friendly.Clean hotel but somewhat dated.Had a room on ground floor with patio that opened to pool and beach, really liked for coming back and forth from outside activities(164).Stopped at grocery store on way to hotel and got snacks and beverages for room!

Service

Ordering drinks at the swim up bar and pool side bar took a very long time. There wasn't any sense of order when it came to that. We also had to call just about everyday for things that weren't replenished after cleaning, like towels and water. Also got billed for room service when we didn't even order it. They did take that off our bill when checking out. Also be aware of the resort fee that is charged per day, didn't see that when booking, it was in very small print. Other than what was said above we had a good time, beach location is prime and the water was beautiful.

Not so well get away

I was told it inclusive but when I got there the restaurants were $25 per person and every meal. I got stock on the Balcony due to the door and the cracks in the wall went with from the top of the ceiling to the floor. They didn't want to refund me my money and the lines in the lobby are always outrages

Wonderful!

We have stayed at this hotel a total of four times in the past 10 years. It's a beautiful place and we'll definitely go back again in the future. It's located right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The staff is warm and friendly and the accommodations are really very lovely.

great location; updating needed and staff needs training in being more friendly

We travel a lot and one of things we value is friendly staff who are responsive to requests and like their jobs. Food is very average at best and prices at the resort are high for what you get. The staff is not overly interested in helping you-Not a lot of smiles or personal touches. The drinks at the pool bar are really watered down and they are 9 dollars plus they charge a 15% gratuity automatically. I had 6 drinks during the 4 days and they made the wrong drink three times I ordered. Not enough help at the pool bar, a lot of mistakes and no one seems happy to be helping you. Go to the bar inside for a better drink. I am not a big drinker but did not feel anything after 2 drinks which I always do. We did not opt for the inclusive package which they offer. I have heard this is a tactic with all inclusive where the drinks are weak and service slow so they don't lose money. We got there to find no towels in our room. It took several hours to get them to the room and the person I talked to seemed bothered by my request. Left a note to house keeping to please leave a bath mat (after they took it the first day they cleaned# and wash cloths which they only gave us the first day # floor would get wet no matter how you closed the shower curtain and the tub took an hour to drain after a shower# . housekeeping took the note and didn't leave either requested items. We saw a lot of arguing and bickering between wait staff at the market restaurant. The location is great. The beach is amazing. The rooms are in need of repair # carpet stains and missing grout in the tub which did not drain well. There was always a line at the 1 computer with internet they had for all of the guests. This was a last minute trip which we did enjoy- We spent 3 nights there but will do a little more investigating reviews from non biased sites and not ones that are trying to sell packages for a discount.

It was just perfect. We are retiring in the next 5 years so not looking for a vibrant night life. Location was quiet, food was delicious, would only go all inclusive from now on. Going back for sure!
