Definately a younger crowd...
The room was horrible! The ceiling tile fell down causing a leak in our room and our bathroom light would not work. The hotel staff changed our room, but the hotel definately needs an upgrade. Pool, beach, and staff were all excellent. The dining services were good - excellent selection of food for every meal. Location was good - very close to local casino. No children under 14 allowed, so there was a definate party atmosphere. We had a great time, except for our room.

Ok
We arrived on a Wed and stayed for 10 nights. The location is nice; located on Cable Beach. The beach itself is very nice and kept clean. We paid for an oceanview room, but what they didn't tell us was that it was a partial oceanview. The sliding glass door had a large crack in it. The lock was also broken on it, but was repaired upon request. However, maintainence took a long time to arrive. The dinner buffet left much to be desired. The only thing edible in the breakfast buffet would be from the omlet station. However, the Garden of Eden restaurant food was good. We didn't try the Pastafari restaurant. Reservations need to be made the night before. I do have to say that the staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel is definitely ideal for those traveling on a budget and don't really care about high quality food and wants to lie on the beach with a drink in your hand. Keep in mind though that the drinks are very watered down.

CHUD
not all it was cracked up to be!
The hotel room wasn't as nice as I expected it to be. The dresser drawers were broken and made the room look "run downed". Saw a cockroach outside one of the rooms too. They were always "cleaning" the pool with cleansers with people IN the pool or hot tub. This should be done at night when there is no one in the pool, not when people are trying to enjoy themselves. Overall just not what I expected it to be. Could be that I just expect alot for my money or that I'm too picky but I don't think I would go there again.

Call for reservation BEFORE you even leave for vacation. I arrived on a Monday and couldn't get reservations for Monday or Tuesday because you have to call by 10am the day before you want to go. Then on Wed. morning I called at 8am for Thursday morning and they were already full. They are very hard to get into.

The staff was very friendly. Excellent service. Hotel was smelly, I got stuck in the elevator for 25 minutes. I went to the pool twice and they were out of clean towels. The entertainment was not the best Funky D was tired and redundant. I was tired of listenting to him all week.

Breezes Bahamas
I felt the hotel was very entry level All Inclusive. While the food was good, there never seemed to be very much selection and the same thing was served over and over. There was not any one thing regarding the hotel that was terrible, but I was disappointed in the quality and selection of the food. The staff and bartenders were very friendly to us, because we were nice to them, so we had great drinks most of the time. The ice for the drinks was terrible. Compared to many other All Inclusive resorts, this was defiantly on the low end and had more of a hotel feel than a resort feel.

Beautiful beach, terrible resort
My fiance and I booked the trip under both of our names and they gave us two double beds instead of the king size i originally requested. When I asked them to change the room, they told me that all the rooms with a single bed were booked and that I would be put on a room change list. Needless to say, I did not receive a room change for the entire trip. I also requested a wake up call that I never received. And to add insult to injury, I went to the receptionist to ask a question and she was on a personal phone call for over 10 mins!

first time in Bahamas
Wasn't good.
The room was dirty, even towels weren't clean. Many sales people on the beach which hotel could stop, they were annoying all the time. Buffet was average but restaurants were a joke. Ordered fish at both and got frozen fish which couldn't even eat. On the island you expect some fresh fish but not here. Personnel was grumpy except a few guys. The pool was like a mud, it was discusting. I wouldn't recommend it.

Bahamas- Breezes Vacation- My Experience
Overall our trip was great due to some off hotel tours we took part. The Breezes hotel is old and looks a little run down. We were told it was built in the 70s. This hotel is on the lower end of the all enclusive resorts. The staff was mostly rude and unfriendly throughout the week. We had better service while visiting the Atlantis resort. Besides the pool and the piano bar there is not any good entertainment at the hotel. The alcohol choices are limited and didnt taste very good. The water in the hotel also tasted bad. The food at the buffet was ok but was closed many times thoughout the day so we were forced to eat outside at the bbq, which only has hot dogs and hamburgers, and fries. I got sick of eating hot dogs all week! We did some great tours outside the hotel of snorkling, parasailing, jetskiing, shopping that were really fun. Beware, the jetski rentals are not affiliated with Breezes and they are ripping people off including me and our some in our party. They are rental broken or jetskis not filled with gas that will die on you. I was stranded in the ocean for 30 mins until I got help and they would give me a refund or more time on the jetski. I would recommend paying a little more for a different resort. Overall, the trip was fun since we had a large group of friends but Breezes is definitely low quality. [...]

A Little less than what we paid for
Our expectations weren't high and we were glad. The Alcohol was low rail at best and not a big variety. Low shelf Rum and one kind of beer was definitely a let down. Rooms were small and outdated. The food was cafeteria style and usually cold. You have to wear a wrist band so you're tagged when you go anywhere. Forget about getting a soda, it wasn't close to soda because of the old fountain system - they need to get canned drinks. All in all you get what you pay for or a little bit less. If it wasn't the beautiful ocean I would have left the first day. The Pool and jacuzzi looked a little fool and could be cleaned a little more often. We were afraid to go in because it was merky. They keep their Staff busy and they are probably overworked - so it may seem like they don't care but I attribute that to their work load. As soon as you check-in you get the impression that your just another tourist that they need to shuffle along.[...] did not fully understand what was in the travel deal and sold us an additonal cost for transportation to the resort for $65. We picked up on that the mistake and they said they will credit us back the cost.
