Unbeatable location for the price

We went to some other hotels out on the island and that was nice. The food was very good. Two problems if your handicapped and you use a wheelchair it's very hard to get around, just about anywhere we went. It was cold in the dining room where i eat as i'm handicapped and that part was cold. you couldn't regulate the temp in the room. It was either blowing cold air or you turned it off but other than that it was nice.

Service was so so

overall stay was OK but service was poor, there was no towels in our room when we checked in,we got towels 2 hours later after 2 phone calls and a visit to the front desk, the staff didn't seem concerned, there was no apology. Some servers and bartenders were rude, indifferent. The floor was always slippery and the cleaning solution smelled like gasoline, there was mop fur on the floor, saw a dead cockroach on the floor close to the elevator. The food was average, repetitive.wine quality poor even in the Al A Carte dinning room. The entertainment was not well organized with a lot of dead space between performances, same entertainer every night.

Highs and Lows of this Inclusive

Breezes can be quite isolating. The beach is small and you really cannot walk far from the hotel as there is nothing around the area. Lots of construction going on in the area as well. The hotel staff were what I can only term as indifferent. They weren't rude, but never went out of their way either. Breezes definitely needs an update. It should all be renovated. It wasn't horrible, but they definitely need to kick it up a notch or two around the pool and ocean area and the general facility. Everything just looks a bit worn. I will say however, that the rooms were very clean and the housekeeping staff was very accomodating. The food is marginal. Nothing fancy. The breakfast buffet was very good and I will say there was always plenty of food and drink. The nightly entertainment got old after day two. The singers were good, but the karaoke was lame as were some of the skits. By day three I could not sit and watch the show again even though it varied each night. There are some game tables that you can use as an alternative. Pool tables were old. We took a snorkeling cruise that was lots of fun for our group of 8. We had our kids with us who ranged from ages 18 to 24. They loved the snorkeling. We were also able to rent a jet ski from the shore of the hotel. Always, always bargain. They will negotiate a price with you. We also took a trip to downtown Nassau. Not worth the trip. The busses are old and dirty and downtown Nassau is the same. Hot, congested and dirty. The straw market was beyond horrible. Hundreds of people in a tight enclosed space all hawking the same junk. They are dogging your heels the minute you walk into the place. It was very unpleasant. All in all I would say that I would probably not return to a Breezes resort and definitely not back to Nassau.

There are two restaurants plus a full buffet. We tried making reservations at both restaurants and they claimed they were full, but we decided to just go to the restaurant each night and we were able to get into both.

First time last time

Wow what a TOTAL disappointment. First time experience with the Breezes chain and the last I won't even bother to try another at another location. This was a joke the Hotel looks so run down. The only good looking thing was the floor in the main lobby and that's because its colored tiles. The recreation area had smelly old carpets, the pool tables looked like they weren't cleaned in years. The lighting was POOR. The rooms where typical hotel rooms which smelled of MOLD. The only good thing the AC worked THANK GOD. The bathroom shower head leaked and they even opened a BRAND NEW BOX of TAMPOONS and STOLE (3) UGHHHH I had to file a report. The spa areas one was on the beach looked rundown and the other by the pool looks like it was barely used and looked unsanitary didn't even bother. There are locals running up and down the beach area and others selling you stuff nothing private about that. Also the Beach was not cleaned well of its seaweed and the pool was only cleaned like ONCE a day so it was disgusting. The Soda machines by the pool worked half the time and the plastic chairs by the pool side were so old, an older gentleman we met FELL OMG what a scare. The food WAS HORRIBLE very little native food WHAT THE HECK I go to places to at least try their food. NEGATIVE keep in mind I PAID FOR THE FOOD at Breezes no way I went out and ate much better quality and tasting. Breeze Bahamas needs a wrecking ball through it and it needs a major MAKE OVER OVERHAUL. Come on now you making money UTILIZE IT UPGRADE CLEAN IT BEAUTIFY DO SOMETHING. Keep in my I only book All Inclusive every single May so I know what I can expect and what I want…..I am sticking to the Dominican Republic Punta Cana baby all inclusive are AMAZING NOW those are worth it.

Destination Wedding!

We had a great time at Breezes. Everything was clean and tidy. This was our wedding/honeymoon and we were actually upgraded to a ocean view room. It was beautiful! The beach and pool were both well taken care of. We never got bored because there were plenty of activities to do all day and everything was pretty much free. We really liked the food, especially Martino's restaurant. The bar was good but the drink glasses were very small. All the staff was very friendly and always helpful. 90% of the nightly entertainment was outstanding! Our wedding was on the beach right at the resort and the wedding planner and staff was amazing. They remembered every detail of the event. It was really special and a great choice for the wedding. All of our guests had a great time as well. The only negatives was the second to last night we were there, 150 high school students arrived and were obnoxious and the beds were very uncomfortable. I would recommend to friends and we will be returning next year for our anniversary.

Bed bags

Our room had no working phone, TV had snow flaked not clear image, and my daughter get hundred bed bags bites all over her body after the first night. We tried to stay outside of the room as long as possible. We reported problems with phone and TV but it wasn't fixed. Bed bags bites were treated by hotel nurse (she put some cortizone cream on my daughter's legs), but we were never offered other replacement room....

Girls Birthday getaway

We did the snuba sub experience. It was rally great! The guys who tooks us out were the best! I did the Happy Trails Horseback riding on the south beach and it was the best riding experience of my life. the owner Duke and Wayne who was my guide were great! They took me out even though no one else was riding. It was very special! We did the fish fry and the straw market. This resort is absolutely the best ever! The only thing missing was enough towels for our stay. We never had enough for all 3 of us. I have been here 4 times now and this by far was the best!!!

Breezes bahamas...well worth it.

Drinks were always good, service was very friendly, rooms were nice, piano bar can use some fresh air every now and then. Even if you can not get reservations at the restaurants for dinner go anyway, you just might snag a table. We did both nights we were there. If you eat at Garden of Eden eat outside.

Very nice all inclusive

The hotel had very nice, clean pools right on a beautiful beach where you can swim or walk. The food was great with many choices. The bar was stocked well. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We would go back again.
