Lindner Hotel Am Belvedere

We were in Vienna for a short trip and this hotel was perfect - just outside the bustle of the Ringstrasse, but closely connected (2 tram stops away). The hotel is a few steps from the Belvadere Palace - a great location. The hotel has a nice restaurant and well-stocked bar, and while it is not a non-smoking hotel, there are non-smoking floors that were truly smoke free.

I stayed on night in this hotel. The hotel is really close to Belvedere Museum but the subway station is really far away. The hotel is nice designed but some of the furniture in the room seem like they need to be replaced. The room I stayed was not clean it has dust in the furniture and one of the garbage bin had some papers inside. The bed sheets were old and they don't even gave me any shampoo or bath gel, there was liquid soap in the bathroom but it was a large container and I guess every guest use it and I don't think that's very hygienic. The breakfast buffet was ok. The front desk staff was efficient but not so friendly in fact there was a girl that was kind of rude. It is not a bad hotel but i would not recommended it if you can get a better option.

The hotel's location is perfect. It's close to public transportation but is also within walking distance to the Ringstrasse. Right next door is Belvedere Castle which is awesome for early morning or late afternoon strolls. The hotel restaurant serves the most amazing breakfast. It leaves one entirely satisfied. The rooms are clean, very modern and spacious. I'd definitely stay there again.

Breakfast is too expensive. Room service menu did not have a diverse enough selection for a tired traveller in need of a quick meal. Recent reduction in internet connection is welcomed and must go down further, as my last visit was the 5th over the last 6 months.

check your bill, sometimes they charge you for services you haven't used, but this can be cleared up at the reception desk.

We recently stayed at this hotel on a visit to the Christmas Markets in Vienna and were pleasantly suprised by the quality of the hotel which is excellent. Staff were generally very helpful and attentive, internet access in the foyer is free and the breakfasts are fantastic. Our room was very quiet and quite an unusual and innovative layout, ideal for a few days, although storage could be a problem for any lengthy stay. The hotel is used as a business venue for conferences etc but unlike some hotels this was in no way intrusive to other guests. It's a good 15min walk to the main shopping area but there is a tram stop virtually outside the hotel. Bar area tends to get a bit smoky in the evenings but we would certainly recommend and indeed use the hotel again in the future.

A fabulous hotel, modern great location lives up to its website description. Would stay there again.
