Unpleasant experience
We booked for and paid for three people in advance. Upon arriving, we were asked to pay an extra charge of $14.00 euros for third person. Next day we continued our vacation in Salzburg with same booking but at different hotel, same amount of people and upon arrival were given accommodations for three people at no additional charge. The front desk staff was not friendly or helpful, would not stay here again or recommend to anyone.

Great potential - not completely realized
We arrived on a Sunday - apparently this hotel is not so open on Sundays - the restaurant was closed for lunch, the convenience shop was closed - not world class. We stayed in a club room - which frankly speaking was not any better appointed or larger than what I would have expected of a standard room in this caliber of hotel in a major European city.

I'd stay there again
I enjoyed my stay. The hotel staff gave excellent instructions on how to get from the Vienna Airport to the hotel. After arriving at the designated train stop, I walked to the hotel in about 5 minutes. The Center of town was also an easy walk of ~25 minutes, or public transportation will get you there in ~10 minutes. The room was very comfortable, and the staff were generally quite helpful.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
I enjoyed the city cafes and restaurants, and I was always pleased with the food and beverages. Those serving the food ranged from excellent to annoyed that they had to work in a restaurant. I was disappointed that many of the restaurants allowed smoking, but after a hunt, one can locate a smoke-free establishment.

Immaculate hotel
The restaurant at this hotel exceeded expectations, and clearly there is a serious chef involved here! The lobby and public areas are very attractive and well-presented. The club level rooms are attractive and clean. Altogether a good value and well worth a return.

What a find!!
The moment we walked in the door, we loved this hotel. The rooms were perfect and the staff even better. They recommended a wonderful local eating establishment. There was nothing they wouldn't help us with. The restaurant is also wonderful for dinner especially after a long day of sight seeing. Their breakfast is fabulous. But I would be sure to buy the breakfast included in the cost of the room or upgrade to a business room which we did. A perfect spot to explore Vienna from.

Beautiful Hotel
This hotel is in the heart of Vienna and was truly a beautiful hotel. We were within walking distance of all of the favorite tourist spots. A couple of small negatives were that the patio dining/bar area closed early and opened late so we weren't able to utilize it. Also, the cost of the internet was rather high and if you have a car, parking prices are ridiculous.

Short walk from hotel
There were many really good restaurants for breakfast near the hotel. We opted to NOT get the breakfast buffet which was very pricy and go for a local restaurant. Turned out to be a great choice as we were able to taste the local food rather than hotel fare.

they have a 50euro upgrade package- it is great and well worth the 50 euros per night. you get an upgraded room, access to their lounge- which serves food and wine all day long (included in the 50eur) and free internet in their business lounge. we saved a bunch of money by eating there! well worth it!
