Great room, bad coffee

We stayed for 3 nights, the location was excellent! The room was very comfortable and clean, the internet access wasn't cheap and was very slow. The breakfast was included, and it was adequate but the coffee was just awful. It was a short walk to the subway and the palace was practically across the street. The staff was excellent, very helpful and welcoming. Great value!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Wienerwald is right down the street, a left out of the hotel, reasonably priced and great food. Don't go to the pizza place near the hotel, it was really bad, like cut-up hotdogs in lieu of sausage and olives bad, also very dirty.

Location is tremendous

We loved being able to walk over to the Schoenbrunn Palace and enjoy the gardens, plus took the subway to/from key attractions in downtown Vienna. This was our 2nd visit and we'd return again if we get a chance.

Perfect for family

Easily accessible to the U-bahn station. Beautiful room, very large with 3 full size comfortable beds. We traveled with our two children, 15 and 7 and had plenty of room to stretch out. The buffet breakfast was a little pricy but no worse than any other place you might eat in Vienna and the food was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Schonnbrunn palace is a short walk and even though it was very cold while we were there, there are plenty of places to nip into to warm up. The zoo is one of the best I have been to in the world, it's a definite must if you go to Vienna!!! Also, the grounds around the palace have abundant wildlife that will take popcorn or nuts right out of your hand. It looked like that's were many families spent their Sundays, and that's where we ended up spending our last day:)

Very polite and helpful staff,

Very polite and helpful staff, decent facilities, good location which suited me as I was in town for business/pleasure. Its also within walking distance from one of Vienna's most famous landmarks - the Schonbrunn Palace and the local Metro station is less than 2-3 mins walk away.

A pleasant stay in a wonderful

A pleasant stay in a wonderful hotel. Rooms were a good size, with all necesary amenities. The hotel facilities (inc bar and restaurant), were exceptional, with an extensive variety. THe staff were great (reception, cleaning and bar/restaurant), all spoke English and some spoke Russian and French. The proximity to Schonbrunn Castle and Metro was ideal, offering a relatively easy ride to St Staphens Square. We enjoyed our stay immensly, and would stay here again as a hotel of choice on our next stay in Vienna.

Best Place for visiting the Schoenbrunn

The hotel was perfectly located for a visit to the Schoenbrunn. It is also very close to the U-bahn that will take you anywhere in the city. We were very pleased with the helpfulness of the staff.

Great place to stay in Vienna

We were visiting Vienna as tourists for second time, but it was the first time we stayed in this hotel. Great location - next to Shonbrun castle and Shonbrun underground station. It is just a couple of short stops to the city center. Great room - unbeatable so far for any UK hotel I used to stay, for example. The front rooms may be a bit noisy, we were at the back rooms and it was very quiet. Staff both at the front desk and the restaurant was very friendly, helpful and speaking English language. We arrived at the morning with the idea just to drop our luggage and to checking later the same day, but our room was ready and we was able to checking at 8 am. It was a quite large double room, large bathroom, air conditioner, great beds, TV or entertainment center (not sure, as I didn't pay any attention to it). The breakfast was not included in the price. You need to pay for the Internet in your room and it is only wired access point. Both the breakfast and the internet are bit pricely, but don't forget it's a 4 star hotel! And you are there to explore Vienna, not the Internet. I will definitely recommend this this hotel to all my friends and will stay there again, if I visit Vienna, no matter as tourist or on a business trip.
