I stayed at this hotel a few years back and had a great experience. It was recommended by a doctor at the university hospital where I was doing some work. I booked a night on this trip and everything was top notch as usual. I was planning to ski
with some friends in Switzerland after this visit and plans changed so I decided to stay another two nights in Innsbruck. The hotel was sold out on one of the nights but they kept trying and finally found a room.
Everyone was extremely nice. The breakfast is awesome. The bartender is fabulous. The hotel is right across the street from the train station making it very convenient. It's a quick walk into the old city for wandering around and interesting restaurants. The ski bus picks you up and drops you off right in front of the hotel.
This hotel has a great location (very close to train station), and the hotel physical infrastructure is great. And the staff is very helpful and friendly. However, many of the amenities are sub-par. The internet is non-functional in the rooms. The
sauna is open for very short hours, and the breakfast is only average. Given the price and image, I can only rate the value of this hotel as average for the price. But the hotel location is very convenient. if you want to use it as a base for regional travel or the ski-bus. Only 10 minute walk to center of town.
Very nice hotel. Exceptionally convenient location within easy walking distance (through parking garage) to the train station. Also close to downtown. Friendly staff. Only complaint was that the WiFi only worked a short while. Asked for help
to get connected again and they denied there was any problem. We were able to connect next night in another hotel on our trip, so problem was not our own laptops.
