The hotel has a small bar, decorated in dark green and is situated on the ground floor next to the reception area. The staff are very helpful. It is a family business.

The Hotel Daniel is 200 feet from the main train station in Graz. Also the city trams go right in front of the hotel. You can go anywhere in a very large area (including the airport) using trams/busses for 5 euro per day. The rooms were
basic but very clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Internet access was free and a computer was in the lobby for use. If you rent a car, the parking lot behind the hotel is gravel and it is a real circus at 5PM. Space is very limited. You have an option of parking in a small garage for 9 euros per day. Overall, we would recommend the hotel and would stay again.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
The menu in the hotel was limited and very expensive. A short tram ride across the river takes you to a large business area where many dining options exist at a reasonable price.
