Dornbirn lovely, Hotel strange but above average.
Room was fantastic with an unexpected upgrade. Downside was that the Air Conditioning doesn't work....

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
if you stay in this area, as a staff from a hotel in Zurich so gracious suggested to us, try to visit Schloss Laufen (am Rheinfall), which has breathtakingly stunning waterfalls.

Dornbirn lovely, Hotel strange but above average.
Room was fantastic with an unexpected upgrade. Downside was that the Air Conditioning doesn't work. Rooms were too warm. Pools & Fitness Centre were superb. Free Parking very good. Other than that there doesn't seem to be any of the normal Hotel services. For example, you can't get a drink or a coffee in Reception but must go to Level 11 for it! No wireless Internet in the rooms but there is at reception. In summation, the perfect, good value, comfortable hotel to explore the region if you're just using it as a base. Not the ideal location if you want to use the Hotel as a resort as it doesn't have the necessary amenities. I can't finish though without complimenting the staff who were fantastic and for whom nothing was too much trouble.

Short drive from hotel
Highly reccommended is to drive into & up the mountains behind Dornbirn in the direction of the small village of Ebnit. Not for the faint hearted driver but highly rewarding with fantastic views.
