Kununurra enjoys two seasons. The dry season from May to September is the hotel busiest time so if you are planning a visit during these months please ensure you book your accommodation in advance. From October to March the town is a little quieter and a lot hotter! There is still plenty to do but make sure you plan around the temperatures which can reach 38 - 40 degrees during this time. Luckily at this time of year the hotel usually enjoy rain and activities can be planned that include waterholes, waterfalls and swimming. Hotel Kununurra offers No Smoking Policy.

Kununurra is located 1040 kms north east of Broome, or 825 kms southwest from Darwin and 3250 kms from Perth. Either way it's a long drive, but definitely worth it. For those taking the drive north from Perth, the coastal route passes through some of Western Australia best attractions including Monkey Mia, Shark Bay, Broome and Cable Beach, before heading into the Kimberley's.
