A dramatic spiral staircase and light-filled lobby sets the tone at The Westin Melbourne, one of the city's most luxurious properties. I strongly recommend the Westin in Melbourne (but stay away from the Westin in Sydney, where hotel luggage staff run a scam with cab drivers). The Westin in Melbourne is centrally located and close to everything. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are clean. Business center is free. A+++

Good but dated
This hotel has a somewhat dated feel; overall it felt too old fashioned without the history and grandeur to be a classy hotel. My bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom has the best shower I have ever come across. It has an excellent location re shopping and some entertainment but is also further away from the main entertainment hub of Southbank.

Our stay at the Westin was wonderful
Our stay at the Westin was wonderful ! The staff are very welcoming and professional and the rooms are beautiful. We felt like the staff were genuinely keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. thank you for a lovely weekend !

I was very impressed with staff
I was very impressed with staff very friendly , abit disappointed with the rate for car parking $50 and our room was on the 6th floor looking at a wall so probably would not do that deal again also we received the free pillow but again it is a super king so will have to try and find another one and also covers to fit.

We stayed here over Easter and the location was great, so handy to everything. The staff were very helpful and friendly and really couldn't fault anything. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Location is great!
The Westin is centrally located to much of what we wanted to see. The free tram was only minutes away and we had a great breakfast on Degraves Street - a Melbourne lane just a short distance away. The room itself was most comfortable, clean and quiet. We stayed in five different hotels on this trip and our stay in the Westin was by far the best of the five.
