Luxury in the heart of downtown Melbourne
Rydges Melbourne is located in the heart of Melbourne's vibrant theatre district, on the door step of Chinatown and within walking distance to Melbourne Park’s sporting grounds, Collins Street boutiques and the famous Bourke Street Mall. Crystal chandeliers welcome visitors to the ornate lobby. Upstairs, rooms and suites are bathed in plush reds and purples, some even have soaking tubs. Central location and a great 4 star hotel
Having read some of the reviews and given the low price I got the room for I was a little worried about what the room would be like. I had no reason to worry at all! I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is a high quality 4 start hotel. The rooms were modern and very comfortable. The bathroom a little small but manageable. The location is great and the staff very helpful. The bed was very comfortable too!

And it charges me some other fees though not much, from my credit card without any explanation. i hope one email from this hotel could tell me the reason.

Melbourne GP weekend
Good overall experience. Good location for a few days in Melbourne including events like the Grand Prix. Nearby restaurants and bars are fantastic.

One or two blocks away - several great restaurants. Good nearby cafes as well and bars. Locals will provide good advice.

Great location to the mall and close to fantastic restaurants! Room was very nice and the bed was omg fantastic, best bed in a hotel. Will stay there again if the price is good for sure!!

Location was very central to everything
Location was very central to everything in the city. Staff throughout the hotel were polite and very helpful. My room was very clean , the room cleaning staff on the 15th floor were very polite and very competent. An overall happy stay. But l will put this in .....the Breakfast price is abit high it should be apart of the room.

Rydges hotel was very close to
Rydges hotel was very close to our venue. We could walk which was great. I would of liked the hotel to have a little compilmentry wine, as it was our 40th wedding anniversary. But it was still good. Wife wants to know if you have any beds for sale.They were great to sleep in.
