Travelodge Hobart offers great value in the heart of Hobart. A short walk will take you to charming dining and shopping spots such as Battery Point, Salamanca Place, Constitution Dock and the waterfront.
The hotel is also a great base from which to explore attractions such as: the Royal Tasmanian Botanic Gardens, the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery and the Museum of Old and New Art.
Key businesses are located close by to the hotel as is the Royal Hobart Hospital. Guest rooms overlook the beautiful Mount Wellington or Hobart City.

Hockey Trip

This was our first trip to Hobart! Our trip to Hobart was for the Hockey U12's We found this location to be perfect very close to the Hockey centre itself only 10mins drive! Staff were lovely very helpful especially with getting directions to certain area's of Hobart eg Mona museum and not far from the Chocolate Factory! We were nice and close to all the main streets and shops and only 10mins walk down to the Elizabeth Pier and Mures dining restaurant. My daughter who enjoyed her trip was super excited about Subway being right near the hotel practically right outside! Our hotel room was small as the bathroom was but was clean and comfortable our beds were made everyday plus the room was very warm at night no need for a heater very nice. Our buffet breakfast was excellent had on offer fresh fruit and the pancakes included! I would definately be back again for a stay

My Stay at the Travelodge in Hobart City

I was attending a music workshop at the Festival of Voices in July from Wednesday to Sunday and the hotel was only two blocks from the venue. It is very close to Salamanca Markets on Saturday which I visited. Parking is free which is a bonus although twice the hotel car park was full up in the evenings and I had to park on the street.

Visit Two Nights

Centrally located but definitely Budget Hotel. Room adequate-just-- but small--bathroom very small. Limited parking and spaces very small. For one night OK but no longer. Best part was breakfast quite good.

Close to where we needed to be.

The staff at this hotel were great, check in was quick and room (although small) was clean. There is limited parking but close to CBD. My only complaint is the pillows. The pillows were as flat as a tack. New pillows would be a great investment for this company.
