Excellent hotel, most enjoyable
Excellent hotel, most enjoyable stay. The Tasman Restaurant at the Hotel served beautiful food. We were able to walk to almost every place we needed to go to. Staff were outstanding - pleasant, helpful & ready to assist guests. This hotel is so close to the harbour and all the restaurants etc., plus within easy walking distance of Salamanca Place and also the City.

Very dissappointed that I had
Very dissappointed that I had to pay to park my car, and bars and lounge downstairs not opened enough. Will probably not stay here again

found it a bit noisy at times.
found it a bit noisy at times. could hear the traffic noise and the bathroom noise in the adjacent room. could have provided information on Hobart as part of the room's reading materials. otherwise a good experience.

Had to leave Hobart after one
Had to leave Hobart after one night due to personal reasons.Hotel was very close to everything.For the money you pay it is very average.Breakfast is very good

air-con not working only fan,
air-con not working only fan, room very hot on arrival fan eventually dispersed heat no cool air at all. Definately an elevator for guests from car park, I was embarrassed for o/seas guests. Guests should receive free car parking whilst in residence. Dinner was reasonable in cost and delicious, breakfast was outrageously priced & several guests commented. We ate elsewhere

Good waterfgornt location within
Good waterfgornt location within easy walking distance to Salamanca Square where there is a good choice of restauants. Shuutle service from the airport wil drop you at the door for AU$15

Great hotel, only one need is
Great hotel, only one need is to install a lift that goes down to the underground car park. Not much joy in carrying luggage up a flight of stairs to access the lobby.
