Comfortable city center hotel close to attractions, convention center

Still a good hotel
This is our second time at this hotel. The rooms are good size, the location is near the city market and many restaurants on Gougher (walking distance). Parking is a bit high, but the staff quickly retrieves your car from a parking lot across the street. This time the music (Christmas carols on Nov 4th?) was below the threshold of pain. It was VERY loud last time. There is a nice exercise room [could use an elliptical machine, though] and pool and sauna as well. There is three free hours of internet each day, which is VERY cool for a hotel in Australia. The only downside is the outrageously high prices of items in the bar. Their cocktails are easily the most expensive in all of Australia. You could walk to the Hilton and get three cocktails for the price of one at the Rendezvous. They are neither generous or particularly good which makes the price all that more amazing. Would stay there again, just get drinks somewhere else.

rendezvous allegra adelaide
Comfortable hotel - modern, clean, and geared to business travellers. In a good location that is walking distance to Rundle Mall, tram to Glen Elg, and North Terrace. 3 hours per day free internet, which was a nice touch. One of the biggest bathrooms I've encountered in any hotel, with separate tub and shower. Cab ride from the airport is about $20-25. Only downsides were the fairly thin walls. I could hear TV/conversation from other rooms, although it was quiet at night and not bothersome. A fair amount of street noise around 5-6 am from city trucks. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Hot water was also intermittently unavailable for the shower a couple of mornings, not sure what caused that, but if I waited a few minutes and tried again it was fine. Fairly minor inconveniences, however - I enjoyed my stay, and would certainly stay there again.

We had a pleasant stay at Rendezvous
We had a pleasant stay at Rendezvous with a large number of the city's highlights within 2 blocks. We had a nice quiet room on the 14th floor and found it to be a great place to come back to at the end of a busy day of touring.

Great staff and location
My experience at this hotel was fantastic! The staff, no matter what time, was top shelf. The room was clean and comfortable with nice amenities. The location was perfect. The business breakfast offered a nice variety.

A decent hotel... just need to improve a little in service and quality of guest facilities (particularly the gym) and it would be a real luxurious stay. Really disappointed about the parking during the week, but it is in a good location. Short walk to Rundell street restuarants and entertainment
