South Road
We booked our day trip to Kangaroo Island from this hotel but we did not know how to get to Port Jervis for ferry. The front desk receptionist was very helpful, he emphasized that by making couple of turns, we should be driving on the South Road , which would take us to the Port in 1.5 hours. We however trusted our GPS and my husband selected an "Easy Route" to there and we totally forgot to look at the sign for "South Road". We drove through many suburbs and speed by only 60kph and our GPS indicated we needed another 2 hours to go there. We were in a hurry and our ferry would depart in 90 minutes. Our GPS definitely did not give us the fastest way but where were we now? Suddenly the receptionist hints of "South Road" clicked in. Finally by re-routing the GPS to South Road and heading south, we managed to arrive Port Jervis 5 min before the ferry departed. How rush and now I don't trust my GPS but I will always ask the local folks for advice. Front Desk and Concierge are usually very helpful. Don't miss out...

The swimming pool is gorgeous. So remember to bring your swimming suits and dive into the pool, enjoy and relax. The lift is also an adventure. The suspension of the lift is very poor. It givwa loud noise and re-bounce. When I first used it, I feel like having a heart attack. So if you have weak heart then please use the staircase instead and avoid the lift.

The reception desk/ housekeeping were very helpful with replacing the remote control for the television set. The batteries must have been flat. Room service was prompt on a Sunday evening. I was told the meal would arrive in 40 mins - it arrived in 20mins !!

A very enjoyable stay with friendly,
A very enjoyable stay with friendly, helpful staff. Only one problem -a very noisy elevator. Our rooms were close to the one and only elevator and as this was in use throughout the night, sleep was interupted on each arrival at our floor.

Found the reception staff very helpfull & friendly,nothing was too hard for them to help us with any information we needed. The lift & the shower door in our room needs a service A.S.A.P. Great hotel to be at , good rate & easy access to the free tram to the city , will stay there again .

Excellent position, bed was co
Excellent position, bed was comfortable, very little noise, traffic did not affect sleep. Car park had plenty of room and was free. Pity there is not free Wifi as in many USA hotels. Would certainly stay there again.

Used hotel for in transit stop
Used hotel for in transit stop and down time after a busy week, stay enjoyable however unfortunately restaurant was closed because of function found location enjoyable and appreciated needing to take the walk down town would use again

well located, ideal spot to wind

lovely apartment with plenty of
lovely apartment with plenty of room to move.facilities were excellent,except for temperamental water pressure in the shower.apart from that,the 3 nights we spent there were fantastic.a little far away from the centre of the city ,but not a problem for people who like to walk.i would certainly recommend this hotel in this beautiful city.
