M on Palmer is a boutique 4.5 star property featuring 11 floors of modern and fully self contained studio apartments, ideal for the business and leisure traveller alike.
Each chic studio features a kitchenette, laundry facilities, Cable TV, DVD, Internet access, air conditioning and a balcony. On-site facilities include a gymnasium, pool and tour booking facilities.
Located onsite is The Metropole Hotel which is a true Queensland icon and offers conference rooms and dining facilities.
Visitors can choose from an array of entertainment and dining options located on Palmer Street and the Strand nearby.
There is plenty of green space and shady groves to relax and take in the foreshore, ocean and Magnetic Island views.

Reception hours are 6am - 11pm. Please contact the Hotel for arrival outside these hours.

You can't go past Oaks M for providing
You can't go past Oaks M for providing everything you need in one package. The full size fridge/freezer and complete laundry plus a really comfortable bed are hard to beat. Other family members stayed on the Strand and we felt sorry for them.

This was a very good hotel. It was quiet and comfortable. It seems new and as such has a certain freshness to it. Not much in way of staff but helpful. Would definitely stay again

We really enjoyed our stay and
We really enjoyed our stay and will be back. Very comfortable, contemporary clean well presented units. Great use of space. Good beds, pillows etc. Easy walking and right amongst all the good restaurants. Would definitely stay there again. I almost didn't want to talk it up in case we can't get in again or the price skyrockets!

Expected a room with a view, but the view was to the backyard of a backpacker location next door. Location is in the remote end of Palmer St.

Have stayed here twice now and have loved it both times. being at the end of palmer street was no hinderance at all. 10 minute walk into town. staff are super friendly and the rooms are gorgeous with everything you need.
