Oaks Seaforth Resort Sunshine Coast

Great location, excelent facilities but very tired rooms. Beds were atrocious, air conditioning leaks all over the walls and floors and housekeeping standards were appalling. Overall for the price, not worth it but if they updated the rooms and improved housekeeping standards would be a great resort.

We stayed for a week between Christmas & new years so had expected it to be expensive. The pictures of the apartments on the website were nothing like to tiny little room we were in. Not great for four adults to try and share especially with a bathroom/toilet that is connected through the master but shared with brothers. The Aleutian building which was where our apartment was, smelt of mold and mildew. In our room was a pair of someone else's pink underwear and the rooms only get serviced weekly according to reception, when we called for fresh towels they weren't brought up for 24hrs. Access was via a turn key, getting into the car-park turn the key, get the elevator to come turn key, get the elevator to move turn key, into your room a different turn key the location was the only thing that i would recommend, as it is directly across the road from the beach, not that our room faced the beach all we had for a view was some pillars and dumpster rubbish bins

Pricing is great for what you get, large apartment for the 1 bedroom we stayed in. Great location, right across from the beach, little supermarket out the front, along with a few cafes/restruants etc. Staff could have paid more attention to cleanliness/service though.

An excellent apartment in a great part of Oz.

Suites are a bit tired and dated but have the facilities required. The rooms are not serviced daily. The location is ok if you want to be close to the beach, but we walked to Mooloolaba most days as there is nothing much going on in Alex Headlands. The "supermarket" is extremely conveniently located, but is much more expensive than the Coles in Mooloolaba. Some staff were very helpful others needed to work on their interpersonal skills.

Upon check in Staff did not have my reservstion booked in there system, which caused a bit of confusion having to explain how i booked the accomadation, staff where very polite and helpful in making my stay pleasant

Excellent accommodation and very clean. The accommodation provided everything that you would need for a very comfortable stay. Lovely swimming pools and out door areas. The location was ideal as it offered all that you would need and there were also many more cafe's, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

We spent 4 nights over Christmas 09 here and found all aspects to be excellent. The young ladies & gentleman at reception were very welcoming and accomodating on all days, so I commend the hotel on their choice of employees. Our spacious 1 bedroom room had taken into consideration our request for a high floor with ocean view which also overlooked the beautiful tropical oasis that encompassed the lagoon pool areas and lap pool. The gym is also in good condition and well equipped though some music or a TV would be welcomed as I don't enjoy running at the best of times (-: Very memorable!

Arrived late & office closed, but night duty manager arrived promptly. Spacious 1bedroom apartment. Furnishings, lounge couches, bit worn. Kitchen appliances & equipement very good. We had problem with air conditioner/heating unit, and on request, a staff member arrived very promptly to assist. An item of underwear from a previous occupant was left in the apartment, which made me question the level of cleaning that had or had not occured. Over-all though, quiet, good size, location & amenities.

The stove was greasy; some cutlery was dirty; and there was mould/mildrew on the grouting in the shower. The drains in the kitchen sink were dirty. There was only one wine glass (plus four flutes). There were no large mugs. Other kitchen equipment was fine. The bed was short sheeted (ie the bottom sheet did not reach to the end of the bed - there was a gap of several centimetres). Otherwise, the room was quite comfortable and the staff at check-in were courteous.
