Although good location would not
Although good location would not stay there again. Staff not at all helpful & tried to charge extra for booking. Had to get manager before it was sorted & a refund given. No apology given just said "our mistake". As stated earlier wouldn't stay there again or recommend it to anybody.

The apartment was nice, and had
The apartment was nice, and had a nice view, but the noise problem was terrible. There's a restaurant next to the hotel with a really loud airconditioning unit, and it ruined our sleep for the nights we were there. The windows are not double glazed, and keeping them open or closed, made no difference in noise level inside at all. Also, internet access is not included in the price. It says there is internet access, but you'll have to pay dearly to use it.

Very nice place to stay, close to buses, shops and restaurants. No excessive noise from neighbours. Kitchen well sophisticated. Would have been good for the reception to have longer opening hours.

For what it is, South Pacific
For what it is, South Pacific Plaza is a convenient place to base yourself for your Gold Coast holiday. I stayed in a 1BR apartment and it was tidy and well-maintained. Its location on Victoria Pde (in the heart of Broadbeach's plaza) was the big selling point for me as it is a little over 5min walk to the Convention Centre and/or Jupiters Casino, and 200m away from the Oasis mall nearby. My only negative was that the decor feels a bit tacky/dated and could really do with a interior makeover. Overall, it doesn't promise itself to be anything other than a self-contained apartment complex. If you're looking for somewhere luxurious with full service and facilities, then this place isn't for you; however if you just need somewhere to stay and you're not really too fussed about facilities or room service then this place really does the job quite well.
