Aristocrat Holiday Apartments Gold Coast

the apartment size was very good, only negative comment is the bathroom very old and needs attention.

we booked going off the beautiful photos presented on the website for Aristocrat however the room we received was the total opposite out of the whole building I think we were given the most disgusting apartment possible it stunk of smoke and was very old and not to a standard that should be rented out ... at all! The apartment was not cleaned or had not been cleaned properly in what looked like a very long time and it was very old and not at all what we should have paid the amount we paid to have this type of accomodation. We ate out and hardly spent much time in the room as it was disgusting. we did make complaints to the managers however other then getting the sofas cleaned and the floor wiped to get rid of the awful smell that was all they could do as the place was fully booked. In future I hope this apartment does not get let to anyone until it has been upgraded. This was the only down side of our great family holiday in the coast and was a really big let down. :(

If you don't mind an old tired, apartment with chipped paint and boards. and a bed that is uncomfortable,(nothing like the deluxe apartment photos on web) then the view and proximity were good. Indoor pool was a lot smaller than it looks on the net, but was warm and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
