Kingfisher Bay Resort and Village Fraser Island Rooms
- 2 Bedroom Standard Villa
- Self contained 2 bedroom villas in the tree tops and nestled in the Australian bush. Villas have separate lounge and dining areas, inset screens, bath/shower, TV, clock radio, telephone, fully-equipped kitchen, laundry and iron/ironing board. All linen supplied. Villa floor plan vary with some having lofts. Roon only rates, passenger ferry and vehicular ferry not included.
- Resort Hotel Standard Room
- A typical Queenslander-style hotel rooms are linked by timber walkways That meander through the bush. Bright, modern and well appointed, theyall enjoy bush, sea or lake views from large private decks. Each room has one queen and one king-single bed, private deck, air conditioning, insect screens, bath/shower, TV, hair dryer, telephone, fridge, tea/coffee making Facilities. Interconnecting rooms are available. Room only rates. Ferry transfers not included.

We enjoyed our stay at KIngfisher Resort. We found it quite expensive but worthwhile as special holiday. We loved the bus tour and the seafood buffet.

The resort main facilities were
The resort main facilities were meticulously cleaned every day because of the fact that nature is encouraged. We had a problem in the room though with mustiness and that lack of use smell. otherwise we had a great time.

Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel.
Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel. Vielleicht haben wir auch nur Pech gehabt, aber die Preise für Transfer zur Insel und auch für Touren auf der Insel,waren nicht ersichtlich ausgeschrieben und eine konkrete Auskunft zu bekommen gestaltete sich auch schwierig (Was definitiv nicht an den Englischkenntnissen lag) Die Insel selbst ist ein Traum und eine 4 Wheel Drive Tour ist ein absolutes MUSS!! Das der Transfer mit der Fähre trotz Zimmer und Tourbuchung insgesamt 110,-Australische Dollar(f. 2 Personen) gekostet hat,fanden wir sehr teuer, da andere Fährfahrten im Vergleich gerade 1/3 gekostet haben. Das nennt man wohl "Tourismusgeschäft".Das Essen war gut und die Zimmer waren sauber. Der Koffertransport bei der Rückfahrt hat leider nicht geklappt, trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage und dem Versprechen der Rezeption die Sachen noch zu holen. Wir mussten unsere Koffer am Ende selber zur Fähre bringen. Sowas hinterläßt einen unnötigen Beigeschmack, trotz eines ansonsten sehr schönen Tourerlebnisses.
