Apartment living that celebrates the tropical location
Residents of Cairns make the most of their tropical location by spending as much time outside as possible. Visitors can do the same at this apartment-style hotel. The property surrounds a recreation area with a whirlpool spa, lap-sized swimming pool, tropical pool, and barbecue. The hotel blends the comforts of home with the amenities guests expect from a contemporary hotel. Southern Cross is just a short walk from the Cairns Esplanade and the city's best shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The hotel is well suited to family travelers.

Our studio apartment was excellent
Our studio apartment was excellent - the only issue was that we were right beside the train line, which woke us up early in the morning. The pools were great. Location right next to Cairns Central is very convenient.

I liked averything about the apartments
I liked averything about the apartments except perhaps they could have been a tiny bit larger. If I visit Cairns again I would stay there.

We stayed in a deluxe apartment
We stayed in a deluxe apartment which catered for all our needs. The complex was in a great location close to the shopping centre and restaurants. On our next trip to Cairns we will stay again.

Shower head fell off and struck
Shower head fell off and struck me in the head - poor maintainence? Remote control units for TV and air conditioner did not have batteries in them. Hand soap bars very small and difficult to grasp.

Zu Fuß ins Zentrum ~10 Min. Bahnhof (z.B. für Zug nach Kuranda) nur 3 Min. entfernt, ebenso wie Coles Supermarkt. Zwei Pools sowie Grillmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung. Sehr empfehlenswert!
