Italian design adds European flair to apartment-style rooms
Guests may do a double take when arriving at Il Palazzo, wondering if they are in Cairns or in Florence? The exterior and design were inspired by Florence. A pale cream-colored exterior highlights the wrought iron work on balustrades and windows. Il Palazzo caters to business travelers but the location is also perfect for leisure travelers. The hotel is located just one block from the Cairns' waterfront. The departure point for Great Barrier Reef day trips is in easy walking distance.

We had a very enjoyable 2 weeks
We had a very enjoyable 2 weeks at the Il Palazzo hotel in Cairns,the location was perfect . close to the night markets & food court, & very close to a service bus stop . the apartment was well equipt , though small , it was plenty big enough for 2 people, the staff were very nice and the heated pool was lovely to come back to after a busy day out , I would definitely stay there again.

Paradise!
[...] We can't say enough positives about our experience! [...] and [...] were great owners along with their staff to make our vacation perfect! The hotel is located in an ideal location near the Esplanade, shopping and eating options! We chose the hotel for its apartment style option as it included a kitchenette and a washer and dryer so it made a nice base for our 12 days in Australia. The hotel staff made arranngements for us to visit the Great Barrier Reef, Port Douglas, Kuranda and Paronella Park. The hotel can arrange from over 600 tourist activities!Nothing could have been better for us!

Il Palazzo has a perfect location
Il Palazzo has a perfect location in the middle of town but still retains a peaceful atmosphere with no noise from the street. Reception staff were very welcoming. The inclusive underground parking is a bonus. My initial stay was for 2 nights but I was so impressed I returned a week later for an overnight prior to an early flight home.

Perfectly located in the heart
Perfectly located in the heart of Cairns. Nice & well equipt apartment. Free secure parking. Very friendly staff. Can only highly recommend this place !
