Modern motel with a saltwater swimming pool
A playful feeling permeates the design of the Aspect Central Motel. The saltwater pool mimics the outer reef. The motel building itself looks part childhood building blocks and part Alexander Calder sculpture. The Aspect offers a variety of accommodation styles. Room sizes range from single studios that make a comfortable temporary home for solo travelers to rooms that will accommodate groups up to six. The outdoor grill provides travelers with a relaxing place to take a break from the day's activities.

Out of 73 countries, the smallest hotel room ever!
This room was so bad, at first I thought it was a hidden camera joke. The "studio" rooms are much smaller than the even the smallest cruise ship room. The single bed broke when I sat on it (and I am 80 kgs!). This room would be ideal for a garden gnome wanting to feel cozy. Unless the 'studio" rooms are an anomaly, I can't see how this property can even garner one star! The front office closes at 8 pm, so don' try to check in after hours.

Nice, Clean, Comfortable
The room was clean. We had a dip in their pool which was nice after a hot, humid Cairns afternoon. They also had a mini fridge in the room, so if you had a drink or something, that was useful. Only complaint was the bunk beds were VERY squeaky. If anyone even turned their head, it made a loud noise. Other than that, it was a good place to stay.

The room was clean and well provided,
The room was clean and well provided, there were cooking and warming facilities. Bed was comfortable and there was parking. I would stay there again
