Circular hotel neighbors historic Brisbane windmill
The Metro Hotel Tower has two interesting claims to fame. The hotel is in a well-known circular building and it is next to a windmill that was built by convicts in 1828. But the budget-friendly hotel is also conveniently located near city attractions, hospitals, and businesses. Metro Tower, which overlooks relaxing Wickham Park, is a short walk from Roma Street Parkland. All rooms have private balconies. On-site amenities include a restaurant and bar, laundry facilities, and wireless Internet (fees apply).

Great little hotel to spend a
Great little hotel to spend a night in Brisbane. Close to city,very clean, reasonably appointed and well priced. Free parking was a bonus and restaurant although not cordon blue was good value for money. Would reccomend

A bit daggy from the street, but the rooms are modern and always clean. Only hotel in Brisbane with free in house movies and only 2 min walk to the town hall. I love this hotel.

A pleasant stay. We arrived early
A pleasant stay. We arrived early and were able to check in early with no dramas. Good location on Wickham Tce, however the walk back from the city is quite hilly therefore if you have a pram to push or a disability, you may find this an effort. Would stay here again.

Place is very dated. Smokers seem
Place is very dated. Smokers seem to like it though, goodness knows why considering the fines for setting off fire alarms and having the fire truck arrive, is quite annoying for all the other guests too.
