Contemporary hotel is neighbor to some of Brisbane’s best places to play
The Marque is an easy choice for travelers who want a hotel that offers stylish comfort near top tourist attractions. Good Location
Not very friendly staff at the Reception - no welcome to the Marque. As a first time stay we didn't know where restaurants, bars etc were and not offered on check-in. Had to ask where the lifts were to get to our room. Key access to room which was occupied - a little embarassing for the guest. Returned to Reception where the front desk staff mumbled 'Sorry Guys" and went on to blame another staff member. Front desk needs a shake up.

Slightly weathered in places and the rooms are a little small compared to some hotels, but you get what you pay for. Overall, perfectly located hotel at a reasonable price with good facilities.

A truly excellent hotel, close to everything and a large cab rank about a block away (close to the Treasury Casino). I have stayed in a lot of hotels throughout the world and thi one is a true 4 star.

Exceptionally friendly cooperation
Exceptionally friendly cooperation and service. The restaurant also produced very good quality meal combined with unusually generous drinks discount ($15 buffet wines for 2 hours. Help yourself as often as you like!) Room was modern decor and had plenty of room for two. Free wifi. We kept getting pleasant surprises - just one of those great little hotels with genuinely nice people.

Point A to Point B
Great location, good hotel.
We walked alot. We have an 8 year old and a 3 year old, both of whom did great. Southbank is close by. Casino is a block away. Grab the bus to Lone Pine and hop on the ferry to get home. Rent bikes to traverse the suggested routes, or head to Chinatown. All in all great times are to be had in Brisbane.

Short walk from hotel
Find Maddigan's at 212 Margaret Street for great lamb chops. The Pig & Whistle at the end of Queen Street (on the water) and the Pancake Cafe (next door) have good breakfast, but very different menus. Head to Max Brenner's (On Southbank) after dinner for a chocolate overload.

Staff were freindly and helpful.
Staff were freindly and helpful. The meal prices are good. I paid a bit more had a view room, and it was excellent. Great location for everything.

Very good and friendly staff.
Very good and friendly staff. Whilst bathroom has been rennovated a lot of little things did not work,light globes,loose tap fittings.All in all OK but rooms need attention to detail if I am going to stay there again

This Hotel was handy to Southb
This Hotel was handy to Southbank,Casino,shops,Botanical Gardens. The Room was nice, but was not service over the three days we stayed due to public holidays. Car park is lockup , but very tight fit parking plus you had to pay an extra $20 p.n. One very nice note to add is that the manager of the restaurant was very friendly giving us a free desert for our 8yr son. We would stay here again.
