Very nice room, clean & tidy. Now the not so good - two points, probably a bit semantic but anyway. First - why does the booking website ask for a smoking/non-smoking preference and then when I choose smoking for my wife, am told on arrival there is absolutely no smoking allowed. So my wife is supposed to go and stand outside in the rain at 2 o'clock in the morning on her own in the middle of Southbank???? Not good enough, if there is no smoking, fine but tell me prior to booking not after I have paid my money. I believe that falls under false advertising not to mention the possible harm that could have occurred to my wife. Second - a distinct lack of cable channels to view, I am really not interested in kiddies shows or soft porn.

An excellent spot to have a hotel,
An excellent spot to have a hotel, opposite southbank parklands. Lots of places to eat and night life is late. Even though it is right near the rail it was sound proof and We were able to have a wonderful sleep and the heavy curtains helped to block out the morning sunlight. very clean and comfortable, the price was right too, I would return.

A brand new hotel so you can expect
A brand new hotel so you can expect it to be clean and tidy. The room was very good. Spacious and everything you need. Not much of a view unless you are high up in the building. Customer service was fantastic and very helpful with knowing what things to do and good places to eat. Only major downside is parking. You cant park near buy for a long period of time so you have to use valet parking which costs $25 a day! Can get very expensive if you have a long stay.
