A vibrant and playful mix of patterns and lush fabrics ignites guests' imaginations when they walk through the door. The Emporium is one of the city's premier boutique hotels. The hotel has made a reputation for itself for a high level of guest service and its one-of-a-kind interior since it first opened in 2007. On-site amenities include a rooftop terrace with heated saltwater lap pool, sauna, and a small but well-equipped gym. Guests who crave interesting dining experiences will enjoy the hotel's options.

Room amenities include plasma televisions, wireless Internet access (fees apply), and turndown service featuring Lindt chocolates and complimentary water. Forty-two of the suites have personal spa baths.

Features

The Emporium offers many services -- and conference facilities -- for business travelers but the hotel's feel encourages leisure. Food and beverage options include a cocktail bar featuring art from around the world; Belle Epoque Patisserie, where the in-house pastry chef serves French specialties; and the hotel's next-door neighbor, Tartufo Italian restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.

A leading hotel in Brisbane

Spa bath is highly recommended in room selection. Pool visit a must. Good price alternative to the major chains, which are found in the better CBD locations. Really enjoyed the hotel and would love to return again.

Very nice place, friendly staff

This is a great hotel, suited to business travelers, couples, singles, probably less so families. The location is great, the staff are very helpful, i'm not a huge fan of their food (tapas needs to be tapas!) but there are so many options that you just go out and the bar is amazing.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Go to James St for great shops, bars, cafes, fruit shop, coffee, foot spa etc. Or get a map and get directions from the concierge to the riverwalks along Teneriffe or New Farm. Go to the Powerhouse Markets (every 2nd or 4th Sat of the month) from 6am til 1-ish.
