Clean but rather sterile. The
Clean but rather sterile. The staff were friendly and helpful. The TV was not operational because staff hadn't logged it in. This could have been a problem f I had wanted to watch TV late at night as there is nor reception staff late at night. Overall the hotel is good value for money.

Over rated studio room
This is a over rated studio room, not a hotel. The room service offered once every 4 days, additional fee will apply if needed. Front desk has a very limit hours, and does not offer much assistant.

Lovely, fresh, quiet and tastefully
Lovely, fresh, quiet and tastefully done ... Chino is a welcome retreat from Brisbane's bustling style! We'd love to go back when it's not Christmas so that we could avail ourselves of the bar and restaurant.

I don't often do reviews but I
I don't often do reviews but I really have to in this case as this was the smallest hotel room I have every stayed in. Maybe 3*3 metre room with a bed in the middle. It should be noted that the rooms are not cleaned every day but every 4th day. I am a business traveller who looks for two main things in hotel. A restaurant and a gym. The gym I would rate as very bad. The restaurant as average at best. The only good thing is the people who work there are nice.

Quiet with Superb facilities
The only down side of this superb little hotel was Brisbanes updating of the transport infrastructure, both the train and bus station under construction just over the road, although this should be finished soon, and really not that noisy. (it didn't wake me up and my balcony overlooked it) The Gabba is just down the road and I suppose within walking distance, I'm old with hips wearing out. Local shops are just up the road, two lots both with a stroll. The chef produced amazing food. ALL the staff were helpful and created a very welcoming atmosphere. I still struggle with this part of Australia shutting up shop around 9 pm

Great new hotel, room was good
Great new hotel, room was good size, flat screen TV, although I could not get the movies to work and the remote had a mind of its own even the replacement one I received. Food in restaurant was less then desirable, pizza base was store bought, Aldi's I think and it took forever. Great concept and well kept. Rooms are only cleaned every 4 days but as long as your mindful of that it works out fine.
