Hotel Chino was a surprise

This hotel/apartment was a gem and great value, close to the city with both bus and train services no more then 5 minutes away. Very close to Princess Margret Hospital, Greenslopes Repatriation Hospital and Mater Hospital. from feedback we decided to by-pass the standard room and pay the little extra. It was worth it. The only letdown was the pool and spar both were switched off. The staff were friendly and the onsite eating facility was good value.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

The Supermarket and small Target store is close by with speciality shops such as Ruski Way (shop selling mainly Russian food and other items) We found quite interesting.

Over rated studio room

This is a over rated studio room, not a hotel. The room service offered once every 4 days, additional fee will apply if needed. Front desk has a very limit hours, and does not offer much assistant.

Quiet with Superb facilities

The only down side of this superb little hotel was Brisbanes updating of the transport infrastructure, both the train and bus station under construction just over the road, although this should be finished soon, and really not that noisy. (it didn't wake me up and my balcony overlooked it) The Gabba is just down the road and I suppose within walking distance, I'm old with hips wearing out. Local shops are just up the road, two lots both with a stroll. The chef produced amazing food. ALL the staff were helpful and created a very welcoming atmosphere. I still struggle with this part of Australia shutting up shop around 9 pm
