Poor service and over priced relative

Waters Edge

Our room was spacious with a balcony and spa. This is not really a hotel in the US sense, it is a furnished apartment. There is no maid service and you are expected to wash your dishes and pans and leave the apartment clean. It met our needs and I would stay here again. The staff was helpful and the location is very good.

Dining tip: In Hotel

I would recomment the Deja Vu restaurant for at least one evening. It is expensive but is probably the best restaurant in Airlie Beach.

We only stayed at Waters Edge for one night following a sailing trip around the Whitsundays but it was lovely. Great views across the water from the large balconies and the pool was great.

Location fantastic, front desk

Location fantastic, front desk people unfriendly and quite rude. Can not get a meal or any sought of drink on a Monday or Tuesday. The rooms were clean and well kept. Pricing was pretty good through [website].

Great location close to the main street

Great location - Park the car & walk to the main street of Airlie Beach. Lots of accomodation will "say" they are close to the main street and in walking distance but in fact they are not.[...] was very helpful in booking our day trips to the Great Barrier Reef

Beautiful location however a bit

Beautiful location however a bit disappointing that the pool restaurant/bar was not open 7 days but still displayed signage advertising one free cocktail during cocktail hour for guests. Facilities were fantastic and pool simply beautiful.
