It is nestled within the mountain village of Wentworth Falls, 100 km west of Sydney International Airport (approx. 2 hours by car or train) and caters for couples and adult groups seeking peace, privacy and romance in luxury spa accommodation with magnificent views over wilderness areas. Built in 1912, moments Mountain Retreat has been restored and renovated as an adult retreat, combining the ambience of yesteryear and the comforts and luxuries of today. From the doorstep of your Spa Suite or Spa Room, you will enjoy world class short, medium and long bushwalks that take in lush, temperate rainforests, spectacular waterfalls, sheer sandstone cliff faces and historic hand-hewn tracks. Each Suite/Room features a Queen bed, a flat-screen TV with FOXTEL, a DVD/CD-player, an iPod dock, a deep 2-person-spa, tea & coffee making facilities, a verandah overlooking the mountains, air-conditioning and gas heating. Continental breakfast is provided in each Suite/Room, and a hot breakfast option at The Conservation Hut Caf, just 50m from your accommodation at the entrance to the National Park, is available at an additional cost per person. All but 1 Suite have an open gas coal fireplace inside the room.
