A perfect home base to explore Sydney’s attractions
The Y Hyde Park Sydney hotel stands close to Hyde Park and Oxford Streets and gives guests both a beautiful setting and one that is convenient. Visitors take advantage of secure luggage storage and guest laundry as well as a 24-hour front desk with excellent service. Undercover parking and a free continental breakfast are also available to guests. The Y Hyde Park Sydney puts the very best of Sydney at your doorstep, including restaurants, bars, cafés, parks, gardens and more. Fantastic base for Sydney
Excellent helpful friendly staff, clean and comfortable room (we had a twin delux), good free breakfast, and a great location for site seeing around Sydney as train station and bus stops are within walking distance.

air conditioning was quite loud,
air conditioning was quite loud, and the fridge did not keep drinks very cold. other than that, i was out and about enjoying the sights of the city- so only really used the hotel for sleep.

Excellent customer service on
Excellent customer service on arrival (was able to take a shower when leaving luggage). Staff were helpful and breakfast, although basic, was more than adequate.

I was very disappointed when I
I was very disappointed when I arrived at this hotel. Had to change rooms, as the room first assigned smelt like vomit and had vomit stains on the carpet. As it was a recommended hotel I did expect a bit more. On the upside the reception staff were very friendly and helpful

location of hotel is excellent
location of hotel is excellent as it is located in the center of the city where every tourist spot are within walking distance. In addition, the rates for the room are considered cheap as compared to other hotels. Highly recommended to book and stay in this hotel.

As a former world traveller that stayed in 4-5 star hotels, I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities and quality of beds and linens provided in even the standard rooms. Great value for money in a central location. Very friendly helpful staff too. I would recomend this hotel to anyone.

My wife and I found the whole
My wife and I found the whole experience of staying at the "Y" to be excellent in all respects including: polite effecient service, spotless accomodation, convenience of location to public transport and comfortable rooms. I will be most happy to syay there again and reccomend the "Y" to my friends.
