Dependable hotel in Sydney’s central business district
The Travelodge Wynyard Sydney is a comfortable hotel at the core of Sydney's central business district, so guests are able to walk to the nearby Opera House, an array of museums and Darling Harbour. The nearby Wynyard Railway Station provides transport to popular tourist attractions such as Bondi Beach. The hotel's Citrus Grove restaurant is a popular place to enjoy dining and the lounge is tastefully decorated with comfy large leather couches. Here, visitors surf the Internet (fees apply) while over in the lobby bar genuine Australian wine is available until late at night. A fitness center and free luggage storage complete the package.

Their was fine hair in the bathroom
Their was fine hair in the bathroom from a mens shaver, was fine but you could see it, behind toilet was dirty could see that when lying down in the bath. Just needs a bit more effort when cleaning. Other than that was very comfortable. Service was very good, restaurant food was lovely.

The recent upgrade to the Travelodge
The recent upgrade to the Travelodge is easily apparent when entering the spacious, clean, efficient rooms. Friendly staff, an excellent bar and restaurant, a gym and business area all combine to make the Travelodge an excellent choice. For me it was somewhere to stay in Sydney after returning from an overseas holiday. It was an extension of the holiday, but on my own turf. I'll be back to the Travelodge for future visits.

I was surprise at how good this
I was surprise at how good this hotel was. It looked clean and very modern. The room space was more than enough and I'd been through many hotels in US, Europe and Australia to expect the average size of a standard room. The location is very close to everything around Sydney plus the train station is literally next door so you don't have to walk far at all to get to a near by station. Staying close to the train station is pretty important because you do need the train or bus of some type to travel from 1 side of town to another, you won't waste time and effort walking especially if you were to go to Bondi Beach. Overall I highly recommend this hotel to everyone, if you can get a good rate for it. I paid $442 for 5 nights.

Great hotel, great location.
Great hotel, great location. Good room with good facilities. Sadly the water pressure on the 19th floor was poor and resulted in a poor shower. Otherwise highly recommended. Cheers
