Dependable hotel in Sydney’s central business district
The Travelodge Wynyard Sydney is a comfortable hotel at the core of Sydney's central business district, so guests are able to walk to the nearby Opera House, an array of museums and Darling Harbour. The nearby Wynyard Railway Station provides transport to popular tourist attractions such as Bondi Beach. The hotel's Citrus Grove restaurant is a popular place to enjoy dining and the lounge is tastefully decorated with comfy large leather couches. Here, visitors surf the Internet (fees apply) while over in the lobby bar genuine Australian wine is available until late at night. A fitness center and free luggage storage complete the package.

Having had lots of good hotelclub
Having had lots of good hotelclub experiences, this was the worst. The so called executive room was really ordinary and the service was WOEFUL. Debt card debited $100 for & working days! and check in took ages because someone ordered a pizza in the middle of the process. A very mediocre experience

the only down side is the lift,
the only down side is the lift, as we stayed on 21fst floor and lift only went to the 20th and the shower is in the bath, but a nice clean hotel

Best feature is its location.
Best feature is its location. It is right next to railway station yet our room was very quiet. Overall a comfortable and clean place to stay, but a bit short on supplies such as sugars, shower caps, face washers.

Good central location with short
Good central location with short walk to the Rocks, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and the Pitt Street Mall. The hotel restraunt has good food at a reasonable price.

Great location!
Excellent location, close to all transportation and a 10 miniute walk to Circular Quay. Double room was large, bathroom very small. Bed not made after first night, otherwise service good. Buffet breakfast $25 each and not good at all.

Stayed 3 nites in mid-November
Stayed 3 nites in mid-November 2010. Location is excellent being in the part of CBD which is cleaner and quieter and yet a stone throw from the Wynyard train Station. You can board a train to pracically any part of greater Sydney. Only disappontment is there was no electical wall outlet near the table where one can work with a laptop connected to power. Will definitely consider a revisit in the future.
