Nice large clean room with friendly helpful staff. Well located close to darling harbour and other sydney attractions. Would definately stay here again.

Reception staff were friendly
Reception staff were friendly but when they first say to you "You're alright" instead of saying "how can we help you" or similar. Bit strange. I booked through Hotel Club and picked Travelodge because they had a special on. Had to upgrade when I got there because they had no Internet in the these rooms. Can't work this out considering it is a wireless connection. Disappointing.

Location of hotel is good and
Location of hotel is good and close to most things. Easy to get around and use monorail, trains and buses. Staff were efficient and helpful, and the hotel provides an excellent buffet breakfast at a reasonable charge. Hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to the airport. Would certainly use again.

Decent location and price, not so clean
Location was convenient for accessing transportation and tourist sites. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Price was acceptable. Room left a lot to be desired. On check-in there was a musty smell in the room which never went away, there was hair and dust on the bathroom floor behind the door which stayed there all during my 4-day stay, the shelf under the closet where I put my shoes and socks was so full of dust and lint that it surely had not been cleaned in months, all the faucets dripped and I could not turn them enough to stop the drip, and after two days of rain the drain area under the kitchenette sink had a bad smell. No hand towels provided. I would tell a friend about this hotel and my experience there and let them make up their own mind concerning cleanliness expectations but could not recommend it without qualification.

If you are in Sydney several days, consider the MultiPass ticket for all train, bus and ferry transportation. It's a lot more convenient and cheaper than individual tickets if you plan to use public transport a lot.

Great location - very clean on
Great location - very clean on arrival but room cleaning basically non existant during stay - bed made by pulling blanket over unstraightened sheets, no shampoo left. Bed was too short for a 5ft 8 in male and only slightly softer than the floor. Pillow so small it may not have existed. Front desk staff grossly underresourced and overworked

I was pleasantly surprised at
I was pleasantly surprised at how close we were to everything. This included free bus,Sydney Explorer,Central Station and minutes to Hyde Park and Museums etc. We were able to get around without any further travel expenses. Also having a kitchenette was great to have breakfast and cool drinks on hand.

This hotel was well located within
This hotel was well located within easy access to free bus service for CBD and Hyde Park. Rooms were of a good size and well-eqipped. There was a good range of eateries close by at moderate pricing. Reception staff were polite, helpful and efficient.

Good location for the price
The location was great. We were able to walk to venues very easily. Only a short taxi ride to hotel from the airport. Train station was within walking distance from the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Would stay there again.

Big comfy bed, great location-walking
Big comfy bed, great location-walking distance from everything and no traffic noise were the main pluses for me. The staff even did my airline check in and porinted out the boarding pass and answered my questions about public transport and museums.
