I would recommend this Travelodge
I would recommend this Travelodge highly to anyone wanting to stay close to all amenities, though the price is a bit steep. I could find no fault with anything; allowed a late checkout after doing the SMH Half Marathon; dining facilities in the club on the ground floor excellent; very pleasant staff. Convenience store, open all hours, next door was very handy. Kitchenette well equipped. Having recently stayed overnight at Forrest Inn Hotel in Canberra where the dining room is closed from Friday to Monday (unbelievable!), Travelodge, Phillip Street offered everything I needed. I highly recommend it from every aspect.

I was at a meeting in the centre
I was at a meeting in the centre of Sydney and this was the best location at a very resonable price. Will be back. Reception was in a Leagues Club, which I didn't realise. As it is Grand Final week there was a lot of activity. Great if you are a rugby league fan in the club. Lots of pokies - not that I like them.

This is a great convenient hotel
This is a great convenient hotel the only problem we had and so did others that we spoke to was that the beds were so uncomfortable, pull out sofa bed was that bad I wound up sleeping on the lounge. but the bed was no better they are very hard and have no spring. but because of location I would stay again

Great location - a few minutes
Great location - a few minutes walk through Sydney's business district to Circular Quay and Opera House. Well equipped room - friendly and helpful receptionists. I will recommend to my friends.
