Perfect location
very central location, bus stops nearby including the FREE city bus ( route 555). Room is very clean, decent coffee & utensils. Your money is well worth here. Staff was nice but lack of knowledge in helping with directions. They missed the wake up call we requested the night before we left the city but we did not miss the flight!

Great location, as we needed to
Great location, as we needed to do business nearby. Only disappointment was the small bed as we are used to a king & the pillows very uncomfortable. The league club downstairs has pokies & give discounted drinks if you are staying at the hotel. Certainly would stay again, had a homely feeling.

When travelling on business I
When travelling on business I usually stay at the Travelodge in Phillip Street as it's close to all major sites. It's good to be able to go to the adjoining NSW Leagues Club for a great meal and relaxation. The room that I had was OK with a small kitchenette so that you could prepare a meal using the microwave and with a sink I was able to wash the dishes etc. Will stay there again.

Good location with easy walk 2
Good location with easy walk 2 minute walk to public transport and main attractions, especially the Theatre Royal. The bistro provided cheap, basic meals and the easy access to the Leagues club was a bonus. The parking is not part of the motel but is next door. While reasonably priced parking for Sydney We had issues with the entry & exit which the motel was unable to solve. Apparently on weekends the lift within the parking station does not work and 6 flights of stairs is not easy.

Fairly priced accommodations
Well located for downtown visitors, this hotel is a good alternative for budget-minded travelers. Our room on the 9th floor was clean and spacious, had a kitchenette and a safe. Windows faced internal alcove, so no view. Desk clerks were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to place our bags behind the desk while we walked around town after checking out. Hotel restaurant had good breakfast. Downtown Sydney is an expensive stay, but there are lots of local attractions nearby. Altogether, a good experience.

Great place to stay
We needed a place to stay before going on a cruise and the Travelodge was perfect. It is a 10 minute ride on the train and an easy 1/2 block walk from the train station. There is a convience store 2 doors away and a McDonalds within walking distance. It is a short walk from our hotel to the Circular Quay where our boat was so the location was perfect. Our room was quiet and clean and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. It was a little pricey but so is everything else in Sydney.

This hotel has a great location
This hotel has a great location in the center of Sydney. It is 10 minutes walking to Circular Quay, 5 minutes to Hyde Park and 15 minutes to Darling Harbour. My room had a lot of space and a small kitchen with a microwave and a small refrigerator. If you are looking for a clean and great location hotel without the luxuries, this is a nice place to stay.
