Modern refurbished hotel five minutes from Sydney Harbor
Recently refurbished, The York by Swiss Belhotel is a modern, vibrant example of a well-appointed hotel in Sydney city center. Located close to Sydney's central business district, guests on business find its location convenient for work as well as being a relaxing base to return. Its location near tourist attractions, as well as local transportation in terms of buses, trains and monorail, makes it the perfect stay for vacationers. Comfortable rooms, spa and fitness facilities create the perfect city center hotel for a little rest and relaxation.

- Deluxe Two Bedroom Apt
- Approximately 105 square metres in size with two bedrooms (queen bed and two single beds) and one bathroom. Apartments are recently refurbished and include full kitchens, laundry facilities, open air balconies and an open plan living/ dining area. The suite can accommodate 5, with a rollaway bed provided upon request ($60/Night). All suites are strictly non-smoking. Strictly No Party Policy.

- Starting at 60 square meters, apartments are equipped with a queen-size bed, open plan living / dining area, kitchen, laundry facilities and open air. All rooms are non-smoking however smoking is permitted on open-air balconies. Strictly No Party Policy.

- Choice of a queen bed or twin beds is available in our recently refurbished studio apartments. Apartments start at 60 square meters and include open plan living / dining area, kitchen, laundry facilities and open air balcony. Deluxe apartments are strictly non-smoking. Strictly No Party Policy.
- Standard One Bedroom Apt
- A queen-size bed in a separate bedroom, open plan living / dining area, kitchen, laundry facilities and open air balcony. At 75 square metres a one bedroom apartment can accommodate up to three guests, with a rollaway bed provided upon request ($60/Night). Strictly No Party Policy.

Had a deluxe studio apartment on the 13th floor with a balony. Was a nice apartment but traffic was very noisy and the ding dong of the lift did wake me up a few times but no other complaints.

The studio room is much more space than I expected - with kitchen facility. IT is inconvenient to us their free WIFI as it is not in our room - and the staff is always busy. A lot of tourist attractions are within walking distance.

Great spot..so close to everything!
Great spot..so close to everything! Apartments a little outdated but fantastic showers! It was pretty noisy all night being so close to harbour bridge, but would be better if on a higher floor.

Parking is a little tricky but
Parking is a little tricky but 'do able' even for a grandma who doesn't drive in Sydney all that often! My only complaint is our breakfast basket was forgotten and I had to ring and ask about it; it was delivered fairly quickly; also for the price I think some bread, butter and jams could have been provided rather than one very sweet muffin- there are excellent facilities to make toast in the suite. I would certainly stay there again and encourage my friends to as well.

We had asked for breakfast for our two days stay. This was left in the room together ( without intimating that there will be no further delivery on the 2 nd day ) on arrival but was barely sufficient for the first day !

Although we chose the York because
Although we chose the York because of of its location we were surprised by the excellent facilites in the studio apartment. Maintenance could have been better, and some of the equipment, e.g. the washing machine and dryer, had reached pensionable age. That said the it was very well equipped. The only thing missing was a restaurant, not really a problem as there were several cafes/restaurants in the same building.

This hotel was just the perfect
This hotel was just the perfect place for us ,only 5min easy walk from the station and not far from all the tourist places we wanted to see.The price suited us and will certainly stay again if we return to Sydney one day.
