It's ok but definetely not 4 star

Friendly staff, good value however far from a 4 star hotel from almost all aspects. 3 star may be even over- rating. Very small hotel with no ramp at the entrance. Had to carry all my lagguages by myself to the check-in lobby. With lots of lagguages and a baby, it was not a pleasant welcome for us.

good value but basic amenities

Location is close to train and bus stations but area is next to strip joints and street walkers. Not suitable for families. The room and facilities are recently updated and overall cleanliness is a high point. Good value nonetheless.

Great hotel for price

Friendly and attentive staff, nice room for the price, and good location at North Sydney near train station. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. A bit seedy at night (red light district), so we weren't out past 9pm. We bar hopped 1 night and stayed out till midnight. The last bar was 1 block from hotel, perfectly fine & safe. Fridays & Saturdays may be the seedy nights.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Every Sunday is Family Funday! Buy passes at the train station for $2.50 for each person to ride all trains, buses, and ferries for the entire day. We went to Manly on the ferry and a few other long ferry rides and saved a lot of money. Fantastic deal!! - Cynthia A.

Quite convenient

The staff were extremely helpful. We found the location convenient for the bus, sightseeing bus and train. We enjoyed the access to a computer and the internet in the lobby but were surprised that the breakfast was from a cafe next door. It was very helpful to have access to the kitchen in the lobby for preparing our own breakfast. Our friends were surprised we were in Kings Cross (a red light district) but during the day and early evening this was not obvious.

Check out My Multi 3 - $21 for all day, just about everywhere travel. We used the bus, train, ferry, train and then train to nearly Newcastle. Tremendous value.

Great location, nice room

Stayed there with my wife for a couple nights while in transit through Sydney. The rooms are small, but clean and perfectly nice and the staff is very friendly. The location is perfect if you want to walk around and explore the city. King's cross is a funky neighbourhood with lots of food and bars. Downtown shopping and most of the major tourist attractions are within walking distance if you are relatively fit or just a short cab drive away. It would be nice if they had free internet in the rooms, but there are a couple desktops in the lobby which are free to use. I would certainly stay there again... A good value for the money.

Great city stay!

Great place to stay! Had been warned about the area, but it was absolutely fine! Room was extremely clean, fresh towels everyday, little kitchen downstairs and free Internet! All the extras without the cost! Great location, 30min walk to the harbour! Good for a young couple!!!

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Head to Coles to get breakfast things! There is a small kitchen so you can make cereal, toast and things in a microwave!! Rather than spending 7dollars on a croissant!
