Sydney Harbour Marriott
Great location but we did not have a view of the Harbour from the hotel. Good room for adults but there was no bathtub for the kids--did not know you had to request that.

Sydney Harbour Marriott
We toured Sydney as a family. We purchased and iVenture Pass and we had unlimited access to 35 attractions. We also purchased a weekly combo pass for the train, buses and ferries. They both saved us a lot of money. The hotel has an excellent location! We were close to everything. The only issue is the room was small for 4 people and they kept only giving us three towels. Other than that the room was good. The Hotel lobby was nice and staff was friendly. The restaurant seemed very expensive, but all the food in Australia was expensive.

Buy a One Pass that covers all bus, train and ferry expense for 7 days for just $59. Skip the $28 breakfast one day and buy a meat pie from Pie Face Across Pitt Street for a treat.

What a stay!
I traveled with 3 friends and myself, all girls from America in their 20's. We felt very safe and comfortable at this hotel. The concierge became our best friend. He helped us with travel tips and helped us book flights and the whale watching boat tour. The rates were affordable and it was nice and close to the Harbor so we didn't have to spend money using the train all the time!

The Harbor was a very short walk so you don't have to bother with the train. There is plenty to do at the Harbor, you could easily spend 3 days in Circular Quay without getting bored.

Booked room online for 4 adults,
Booked room online for 4 adults, advert said 1 king bed or 2 doubles. Assuming that they would accomodate for the four of us. We arrived to one king bed, I asked the staff if there were anything they could do as 4 of us now have to share a bed they rudely said no "its no guarantee" no apology or sorry for inconveniance. I got upset as it was booked for my good friends 21st birthday, and I assumed we were getting this treatment due to our age and perhaps they have had some trouble making young adults previously. I stated if this were 4 elderly people the scenario would be different, so he then arranged for a roll out bed for us which we were very grateful for. However it never arrived so we had to share a bed and sleep on the floor, there were only 2 towels for the four of us so we had to order more. It was just really bad, thankfully the birthday girl had a great night anyway but it was def no thanks to the horrible staff, she was lucky we gave up the bed for her!

Couldn't be nicer!
Easy walk to Circular Quay, Opera House, The Rocks, The Harbor Bridge and great restaurants and shopping. Also, a short block to trains, ferries and bus system. The room was large, with 2 queen beds, large bathroom, extra large flat panel TV. Great view of downtown for the price we paid. After flying all night, they let us check in early morning which was a huge blessing - and didn't charge us any more. All the staff, from the front desk, concierge, cleaning staff and bell men were all very friendly, helpful and efficient.
