You cannot beat the location of

You cannot beat the location of this hotel for being in the middle of everything Sydney. At the same time it is like a sanctuary to come home to at the end of a long day. The staff are soooooo friendly and helpful - really well trained in customer service. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The lobby bar is also a great place to meet up with friends!

Business trip

Comfortable, clean room with usual facilities. Reasonably quiet. Good location, but limited street appeal as the lobby is on level 8. As a consequence, two lift journeys are required to reach the rooms. Service was reasonable. OK if you are content with the low end of 5 star market.

Fantastic

We stayed for one night only but we had fun as the location of the hotel is close to the places we wanted to see for a very short time . Its almost perfect hotel the only think i can suggest is that there should be even one jacuzzi for couples so that it will not be so boring if your other half is with you have someone to talk too. The coffee machine should have instructions on how to use it. We were be able to work it out. but for others anyway but its handy for the guest if the instruction is available.Over all will recommend to my friends . 5 star for the make your own fresh juice.

Good location in heart of City

My partner and I stayed 3 nights and overall it was okay. The rooms are dated but the hotel is in a good location in the heart of this city so if your not after anything too flash it's more than suitable. I would recommend steering clear of the in-room dining though - it's overpriced and really bad food. Service on the front desk was good but not so in the restaurant/bar in the foyer so I would avoid this too.

Not what it looks like in any review pics - Its better!

I always look at review sites for reviews and this hotel looked from the reviews and pics that it was going to be a Chinese business hotel - It wasnt! Huge rooms, new bathrooms with the best showers ever, and the breakfast and high teas were as good as any 5* hotel I have eaten at. The breakfast buffet was delish! The location is in the middle of where the tourists want to be, right next door to Myer in the mall and you can walk anywhere you want to go within 10 minutes. The concierge Lance was fabulous and gave us great dinner recommendations and showed us where to go for a nice walk after an early dinner! Ahmed on the front desk was a true gentleman and very helpful! Ill be back for sure!

Family Getway for Man U

We were 4 brothers and 4 sister-in-laws down for the weekend. One of us also brought our little brother along and asked for a room that accommodated for this, we had advised that there would be 3 adults sleeping in the room so 2 double beds were required. When we got to checkin we were told that it wasn't available and one would have to sleep on a roll out bed. The only compensation they could provide for this was free breakfast. We didn't think this was unacceptable. One of the nights we ordered room service and they brought up the food and missed one of the drinks we had order, the waiter asked us "if we really wanted it because he could just cancel it off our order"? Obviously because he couldn't be bothered coming to bring it to us. Thirdly, the free breakfast for the 3 that were inconvenienced by their room mix ups ended up getting a bill for their breakfast for the 3 days we were there and had to call management to sort out the issue. Something I would expect in a 3 star but not in a 5 star hotel!
