The staff at the Swissotel were
The staff at the Swissotel were exceptional, the location was perfect, I would recommend this hotel to everyone wanting to stay in Sydney. Our room was large althought the view (we were facing east towards the Sydney Tower), was probably a bit of a let down, I would not change my overall opionion of our stay.

Loved the hotel
Great Location
Loved the Hotel. Great location. Friendly people. The only bad thing was the power going out and not knowing why for three hours and the loss of hot water for half a day due to the loss of power the day before.

nice lux hotel
Excellent location, in heart of city and action. Hotel was very nice, very comfortable. Little annoying having to take a elevator every time to get to hotel lobby(3th floor?)and then different elevator to get to room...also, the concierge could have been more helpful, more friendly at times. Would certainly stay there again esp if great internet deal found....

Not too bad of a hotel

fantastic location, very good hotel
Fantastic location, big rooms, very friendly staff, I recomend to everyone who is going to Sydney, we pay per nigth like 85euros, for this price was espectacular!!

Swissotel Location
The hotel is excellecntly located in the middle of CBD, it is around 20 minutes from the airport by train (then a 5 minute walk from St James Square). It's a 10 minute walk to Darling Harbour, Harbourside and the Star City Casino, a 15 minute walk to; Circular Quay, the Rocks and Central station. The hotel is located within 5 minutes of all the major shopping centres the QV building, the Vicotria Gallery's, Pitt Street mall and David Jones. If you don't mind walking the Swissotel Sydney is the best place to stay, with great staff who will take a personnal interest in you, with a good service, pool and a half decent gym, it is without a doubt if money is not too much of an object, Swissotel Sydney is the best place to stay. By far the bets hotel i've stayed in, and i've been travelling for 5 years all over the world.

The best restaurants are by the quay side at either Darling Harbour or Circular Quay, with both lunch time and dinner specials, Sydney is relatively cheap place to eat as long as you look around.

Excellent Hotel
The Swiss is centrally located. We were able to ditch our tours and create our own walking tour. Its connected to the Queen Victoria building which offers awesome shopping. I highly recommend!!!
